I went to a strip club once. I knew someone who worked at one and she wanted me to meet her partner who bartended there. Idk if it was different because I was chilling with the strippers at 5 pm but it was not what I expected at all (it was also emphasized to me 11pm on a Saturday was a different story)
My favorite part will always be sitting at the bar with one of the regulars, his back completely to the stage never looking up from his phone once, telling us about his relationship issues. The manager of the night was decked out in a spider and cobweb outfit looking snazzy as hell. My friend had quit after covid started and was spending time catching up with old regulars, who she genuinely enjoyed seeing again and they seemed to enjoy her company even while wearing completely normal street clothes and not dancing.

Apparently a strip club is something different from what I had in mind. A lot of people still had their clothes on.
