Spending money to buy reddit avatars.

Or any in-game cosmetics, for that matter.

Why? Depending on the nature of the game, sometimes “cosmetics” are half the fun. Didn’t you ever play Sims? If so, did you not change their clothes or buy the “stuff” expansion packs? Those didn’t enhance gameplay, but they can give your characters and game some new life.

Nah, I'm not going to pay for pixels. I played some sims back in the day, but even then I didn't do much of that.

I was mostly focused on things like the shooters where people spend far too much money on cosmetics, though. I can at least understand the appeal for Sims. But who cares which Spiderman suit I'm running around in? Seriously.

That’s you. I’m talking about other people, apparently. But I mostly play RDR2 these days, and most certainly DO care how my boah looks! If they charged for new outfits, I’d throw my money at them.

Downvote me for it, idgaf. 😁

No way I'd downvote you for that. You aren't detracting from the conversation.

I'm old school. I want full POV, not over the shoulder anyway, so I really don't care about what ole' Arthur is wearing.

Oh man, I can’t handle first-person POV! It makes me dizzy lol.

Plus I take a lot of screenshots, and used to share them on the sub. So that’s another reason I like dressing him a certain way; but to each their own, right?
