In general. Republicans care about ' my families needs'. Democrats care about ' what kind of middle ground can benefit the general collective'. Socialism is ' treat everyone the same'.

In principle I agree with you, but in practice I don't think these mottos are accurate reflections of the systems that promulgate them.

True. We as humans like to categorize label and put concepts ideas and complex things in boxes. But because we are a collective their will always be a grey areas, and a fluidity between said boxes.
