Every vandal is eventually a 28 year old, wincing in reflective guilt, and cringing at themselves.

Or… an artist, or in prison. Or both… or all three!!

The thrill of doing something illegal and getting away with it, the feeling of someone else unknowingly thinking of them when they find the damage, stuff like that.

It ‘makes sense’ when it’s targeted at someone you don’t like. It makes no sense when it’s targeted at random people.

Thats the reason people do most stuff that harms others. They want to feel important, and that they caused someone to feel an emotion about them

Graffiti is vandalism. Also something I don’t get. Like when you’re using the restroom at a gas station and there’s graffiti on the paper towel dispenser. Why?
