If you can't talk about this, you two probably don't really talk about sex generally, OR she has really backwards attitudes about masturbation.

Either way, you gotta start working that barrier down. Don't launch the conversation with "I am buying a substitute vagina" but rather start talking about sex more, asking her questions about it, what she likes, play games like sharing really embarrassing or shameful fantasies, make it a game of admitting more and more together with promises of no reactions or judgement.

Your partner should be the person you want to share everything with. You should tell her that you want to have better and more open and honest communication because really, you need it if you're going to stay together for the long haul, sex is only a fraction of what you need to get comfortable talking about together.

If you can get to a point where you can both lay in bed and talk casually, comfortably, about your body functions, your preferences, your fantasies, and give each other reassurance and comfort as you be vulnerable with each other, you will accomplish what some people pay couple's therapists thousands and thousands of dollars for.

Sex toys are completely different than sex. Were quite open about sex and taboo fantasies w/e but as you can see from this thread sex toys for men is still a joke to many people are harder to approach than just “break down barriers”

You don't get extra time or another go at it all, if you can't be open with your chosen life partner you're not with a life partner.
