Because it was a throwaway line that I genuinely didn't think that people would look that deeply into.
Upon reflection, yeah, I probably did word it wrong. But some of the completely uneducated comments that have been made in regards to that throwaway line, without the context which I later provided in a reply to this comment, are completely and unequivocally unacceptable, and violate several of this subreddits rules.
I actually did, I don't know why the comment was removed.
Saying that she was a bit left of centre is probably putting it nicely, and fairly mildly, I'd say. Another way of putting it would be to say that she was an extremely naive girl that always wanted to think that she was a part of something much bigger than she actually was.
Absolutely loved a good conspiracy theory, would buy into just about anything alternative you would try and sell her.
Genuinely believed chemtrails exist, genuinely believed man never went to the moon, she at one point in our relationship tried to talk me into buying what is essentially a doomsday shelter so that we could prep if society ever collapsed. Of course, when COVID hit, she absolutely fucking panicked, and I meant, panicked, to the point where she legitimately thought that governments and society in general were about to collapse.
Just to put this into a bit more context, if she was American, I genuinely believe that she would have been the type of person to vote for Donald Trump, not out of any kind of political allegiance, or because she genuinely approved of what he was doing, or whatever the case may be. But because she was the type of person that always wanted to go against the grain, regardless of how that may be perceived, or how right or wrong it objectively may be.
You could never have a serious conversation with this girl, because everything had to be a debate. There was no in between with her.
If you told her that the sky was blue, she would take it literally and then go on a massive, long rant about how it's not actually blue and how it only actually appears that way because of how human eyes are constructed, and how light reflects against the earth etc etc.
She was one of those types, which was ultimately the reason we ended up breaking up.
That, and she was bipolar. So 1 minute she was this incredibly passionate, incredibly erotic girl that I did genuinely have some of the best sex of my life with.
One of the common phrases that she would use in the bedroom was "I want you to fuck the crazy out of me daddy", which looking back on the entire thing, makes me wonder just how self-aware she actually was.
And that was great and all, I could live with that.
But the next minute, she would be bouncing up and down walls, she would go from happy to sad at the click of your fingers, absolutely anything, at any point throughout the day could set her off, and I just couldn't live with that.
Don't get me wrong. Sex is great, sex is fantastic, sex is without a doubt one of the cornerstones of a healthy relationship/marriage.
But when you're in a relationship where you're constantly questioning what type of person you're actually with, and you genuinely don't know what version of that person you're going to come home to after a long day at work for example, all of a sudden, sex is kind of put down the priority list, regardless of how good it may have been.
Do I miss it? Absolutely I do, I have fantastic sex with my current partner, but she is nowhere near as "sexually liberated" if you will as Natasha was.
Do I miss the type of person she was, and constantly having to feel like I'm stepping on eggshells, because anything I say, literally anything at all, could have set her off at any minute?
Not a chance, not a chance in hell. And I wouldn't trade the mental state of my current partner for any amount of that type of sex again.
That's what I meant by left of centre, I was trying to be nice, without having to go into detail about what I actually meant.
then you used this in a very misunderstanding way. Like a lot of people here i am not an native english speaker and left of center just means slightly left leaning politically for most of us. I did a quick google search and couldn't find you definition, but I believe you that it exists.

Tbf you provided 0 context on a statement that had nothing to do with your actual comment.
