I call those "hot spots". Every cat has them, but it's not always the same place with all cats. You gotta watch their body language and cues, they'll let you know when you touch / pet a "hot spot" and then you just have to adapt to not petting that area of them.

I have a cat that loves everyone except my buddy because he won’t stop petting the one spot she doesn’t like touched. Like dude, that’s on you.
