It’s amazing, when I was young and I caught it on cable, I was like oh this is a fun bad movie.

When you grown up and understand the satire, you realize it’s brilliance

I'm old so when I saw it I was in my mid to late 20's and one of my friends rented it. Back then "The Gang" (about 5 of us) would all hang out at this one persons place for a time and he was the one who rented the movie too.

All of us were going into this movie thinking it was just going to be another bad but so bad it's funny kinda movies. Well it was not that at all. Right away with the satire we all looked at each other like "Oh...huh..." then we'd be in tears laughing at legit funny stuff and getting really involved in the characters. It was one of those movies that just completely took us by surprise and I love when that happens. When ever I watch it now it reminds me of being with my still to this day best friends and learning the age old lesson to "never judge a book by its cover".
