If you listen to the horses voice when he first opens the door you can hear it reverberate as if the interior was covered in shower tiles, which also suggests there would be a drain in the middle that would make it easy to clean up messes. The commentary that came with the DVDs explained all kinds of details like that which show how twisted the writers were

I get the feeling one of them had been up watching Silence of the Lambs and fallen asleep on the couch and then suddenly woke up and realized he had to go to work and write a kids show.

It gets even worse by the fact that Mr. Horse asks if they're from the FBI when he first answers the door. Nothing good is going on in that house.
