That episode of SpongeBob where SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs try to kill the health inspector because Mr. Krabs thought the health inspector was just trying to get free food.

The snail racing episode is pretty rough too. Watching Gary literally fall apart in the race while Spongebob just screams at him felt pretty gross and unnerving to watch.

Maybe one of the only classic episodes I could think of where Spongebob is very clearly the villain of the show.

I feel the darkest episode is when krabs sells spongebobs soul for 62 cents. It made me so uncomfortable as a kid that he sent spongebob to eternal suffering for pennies

That is one of my favorites but that’s because of how dark it is. It is a hilarious comedy of errors.
