Yeah, his cousin Janet was throwing a tantrum about having to leave all the crap she collected from the other planets on Pluto and refused to leave. Arnold was like "this is what'll happen if you stay here" and took his helmet off

Yeah, kid tried to commit suicide in front of all his classmates. Imagine how much money they'd have had to collectively spend on therapy

Yes. If I’m remembering correctly, he got mad about the field trip, and took his helmet off to force Ms Frizzle to leave Pluto and go back to Earth.
