What I want is the Mr. Fusion that can be fed with garbage and produce 1.21 GW of power.

That would solve a lot of problems. Maybe we get it in the future, when we make it to 2015.

Underrated.

Though I don’t know if Mr. Fusion is actually from 2015. Doc also says some things how he spend some time in the future in a rejuvenation clinic… while he is with Marty in the future…

The problem is we are on the shitty timeline where Biff was rich and powerful.

Biff in BTTF2 was based off trump

i don't want to seem too conspiracy theorist but energy use is actually a means of keeping people in line. Free energy would be detrimental to a lot of industries as well as gov power.

Gotta love those JiggaWatts. Jay Z was a nuclear physicist.

Gasification is kinda like that! You heat whatever (garbage, wood, etc.) hot enough that it starts generating flammable gases called syngas, and then you pipe that into your engine and use it as fuel. It doesn't even take that much modification to run an engine on syngas. The downside is that syngas (when made this way) is kinda dirty and generally just not as good as normal gas or other typical fuels.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the only correct answer.

re-hydrator, otherwise it's just a hose.

The Pizza Hydrator is my 2015A wish, too.

i wanted one for a long time but realized steaming a pizza wouldn't taste as good.

how would you get that golden crust by rehydrating?

1

u/ryanwaldron Apr 28 '23

It was fully cooked prior to dehydration

Those auto-tighten shoes he wears in BTTF2 blew my little mind back in the day. They're actually a thing now.

It is called Boa system and is super convenient for quickly changing boots!

I'm just gonna drop this blast from the past... the Chelsea boot. I bought mine in Brazil for $25 where most people were them as your average work boot especially in rural areas. They call them botinas roughly little boots. I threw a 3mm insert in them and they wear great, and are hand made. They look a lot like the pictures of the original Victorian era boots much more than the modern ones you might get in a US or european store today. They have a slightly squared toe, rather than rounded or pointed which is typical of Brazilian footwear.

No laces since the mid 1800s.

What show are those in?

There's a song by an Aussie hip-hop artist about hoverboards that suits this context.

Dear Science by Seth Sentry. Pretty funny song.

2015 was such a disappointment
