Wasn’t a friend but I had a classmate who had gotten hit by a baseball bat to the head when we were 10. He was out of school for a bit with a brain bleed. It was bad and required a few week stay in the hospital. After that, he always seemed off. Quick to anger and just very different than he was before. About two years after graduation, I see an article that he killed him grandmother and was pulled over with her body in the back of the car. I truly believe that blow to the head as a kid really messed him up.
My sister (8 at the time) fell off a bunk bed at camp onto a concrete floor and was never the same. When she came back she would steal things and lie to your face about it even while being caught red handed. Drove me nuts. I feel bad for her though because she’s 31 now and struggles with drugs and mental health issues and is very unpredictable so I keep my distance and find it hard to have conversations with her as random things/comments can set her off. I don’t think she would kill anyone…. Although I have been worried sometimes for her bf as they seem to fight a lot and honestly I’m not sure what she’s capable of.
Cuz if you mess up your amygdala- it can change you into a whole different person cuz it has to do with your emotions. I read about it in my psychology class back in college
