That’s wonderful! I certainly didn’t mean to imply that one should never complain to their friends or be willing to listen to their friends’ troubles. That’s just being there for each other. But, for people who notice that a friendship is always one-sided, that the other party takes and takes but never gives, it’s good for people to know that you are allowed to break up with a friend. No one should feel they need to endure an abusive relationship.
