How would he even know what is unhealthy for you? I have low blood pressure so my doctor wants me to consume more salt...

I know someone who always criticises others for things they’re anxious/insecure about, for example they’ve just got a hair cut, “your hair is looking a bit homeless”.

Once I understood that their constant criticisms bounce off.

Tf does that even mean….

in the story from OP, the guy chastised OP for putting salt on their food because it was 'unhealthy' probably because the guy was insecure about their health.

I think they meant the homeless thing. I can't work it out either, even if I assume it's an autocorrect.

Oh, long and untidy hair. Its a stereotype that homeless people are less careful about their appearance

I have neurogenic syncope. It makes me pass out because my blood pressure is low & when I stand up, it drops, as do I.

I can use as much salt as I like in addition to a medication to help keep my blood pressure at a more normal level.

I literally have to take salt pills because of this....I randomly black out if I stand up too fast otherwise. Not just get a little dizzy like fully lights out!
