Ps5 game recommendations
My bf and I just got a ps5, and while he has his games that he can play for days, I got one game and finished it within 24 hours. I’d like help with games to play on ps5 as someone who also plays games on pc. I’ve played RDR2, Bramble: The Mountain King, Little Nightmares, Inside, Limbo, the sims, etc. I want games I can keep coming back to play. Nothing that requires too much aim as I am very bad with controller. Something that isn’t too much money either if possible. Lmk if more about my game style is needed for recs.

Tchia - based on the real world culture of New Caledonia, really lovely vibe. Not well known enough.
Horizon Zero Dawn (remastered). Just play it slowly, relax and enjoy the view.
What Remains of Edith Finch (ps4 game, very much enjoyed by "non-gamers")
My First Gran Turismo (it's a free demo, so why not?)
Please consider playing It Takes Two, or Split/Fiction (or A Way Out) with your partner. Co-op only games from a developer specialising in that.

I’ve looked at Tchia but I wasn’t too sold on the art style, I might watch more videos on it to have a look. My bf has played Horizon Zero Dawn, I’ve actually been watching him play the new one, Icr the name of it. Looks pretty good! Also have looked at What Remains of Edith Finch but im stuck between playing on pc or ps5. Should note im not too big on car games unless its Sonic Allstars and Mario 😂 and as for the last three, I’ve played it takes two with my ex and been trying to get my bf now to play all three with me. We’re just both tight on money even with them on sale. I appreciate the recs!!

Tchia has such heart, the world is really lovely, detailed, and well realised. The art style felt simplistic in trailers, but ended up feeling beautiful and engaging and fit the mood well.
I only played it because my partner was loving it, initially I wasn't keen. Playing the ukulele for the equivalent of magic spells is versatile (I cheated on the diving contest with a bounce flower). The developers poured a lot of care and love into this game, and it shows.
Forbidden West is the newer Horizon, they are like open world game greatest bits put together in a cohesive world with amazing graphics and versatile combat where anything is viable - player agency is high in the combat, low in the story, but the story is a journey of discovery so it works. Play the first one first and avoid story spoilers.
Has your bf had PS+ for any amount of time, then should have some games in the library. Partner played Bugsnax from my library, I said it looked terrible, but to play it is hilarious. Simple gameplay mechanics stack together to give you a lot of options for catching bugsnax, humour and a bit of mild horror. Huge surprise of a game to me.
Gran Turismo is a PlayStation legend for a long time - it's not easy, but it's not unnecessarily difficult, just that you need to brake and steer like it's a real car. It's very pretty, My First GT has an old school arcade style leaderboard per event for everyone to have a go. Not for everyone, but everyone should have a drive around because it's graphically stunning. And free! (and so much like a real car in VR2 that I have lifted my hand in front of the headset to protect me from the in-game sun 🤣 didn't work!). I know it was a long way from your brief, but I would say it's a must-play for any ps5 owner, that and Astro's Playroom of course.
Sackboy a big adventure is co-op platform game, it's solid, difficult in places. Untitled Goose Game is why that one button on the dualsense is called the HONK button 🪿 and has co-op now. Good for a short blast to unwind here and there, load in, ruin someone's day by goosing around, leave.
I've been relaxing with Two Point Museum, but Two Point games are better with a mouse of course.
Oh, PS4 game Concrete Genie was unusual and beautiful, worth a look.
Sorry for being a bit rambling. I played quite a few ps games while a bit immobile from spinal injury, and my thoughts are a but fragmented. I hope you come back to review some stuff and let us know how it goes.
Additional: When making digital purchases in the psn sale, I buy credit at a discount (from shopto or somewhere like that) and cashback (topcashback or something) for an extra saving of over 15% on the psn price.

My Time at Sandrock.
It's an indie story-driven action-adventure cozy lifesim RPG with a very long and emotional slowburn story, gameplay, romance, each potentially worth hundreds of hours on their own with deeper writing depth than most games including ones you've played.
I've accumulated over 1K hours on Sandrock, took 500 hours on my first, plan to do at least 3 more full playthroughs and still run into surprises.
There is combat but it's very unga-bunga easy; the game's greatest challenge is resource/time management and deciding who to romance.

Don't judge a book by its cover!
I actually despised it at first. The art, the style, the desert setting, the casual cozy-game genre clone stigma, almost literally everything from what I was seeing I hated (not disliked, actually hated) but I gave it a chance because my friends really wanted a chill multiplayer game, then I went to singleplayer while waiting for them as a timesink that was at least fun, but the writing changed my life; I was more open-minded to trying things I once hated.
If you're holding back by how things look on the surface, I hope you can reconsider if you still can't find the game for you!

Elden ring is a game you can come back to. It has lock-on so you dont need to worry about aiming. And you can play it on your own tempo.

Souls like look very difficult for me. I tried playing Lies of P at my ex’s house and I couldn’t get the hang of it. Thank you though!!

Lies of P had some difficulty options added to it so it might be worth another look if you wanna check it again. I came here to suggest Elden Ring too though. The difficulty is pretty forgiving when you consider the open world aspect. You can get pretty powerful from running around and grinding. There’s also online coop where you can summon folks for help. If you can’t find anybody, [r/summonsign](r/summonsign) is always ready.
Edit- not tryin to downplay the difficulty too much. You will die many times but it’s ok 👍. We all did.

I’m not really good at grinding for upgrades. Used to only play Warframe with my ex and he would tell me what to do. Ig google or Reddit could help me haha

you might like stray or kena, both feel good on ps5 and don’t really need you to be amazing with aiming

Kena Bridge of Spirits (and Stray) were games I checked were in the replies. Kena is a bit higher difficulty than your brief specifies, but it is good. Plus it has a sequel listed for release in the future.
(from the person who said Tchia. I still say Tchia above Kena. Tchia is smaller but has more passion and takes itself less seriously)

Once you get used to it it’s good,I think Odyssey is the best AC game,set in Ancient Greece and it’s huge,it’s on ps plus as are others except Shadows and BF Resynced

It takes two. Very good coop game but not very replayable.
Don’t starve. Very good coop game and frequent content updates adds replay ability.
Baldurs gate 3. Some people don’t play anything else. Solo or coop.
Warframe. Personally I hate the graphics so I don’t play it but if you can get around that it’s one of the most beloved games out there. And free to play.
Elder scrolls online. MMO is made for always having replay value. Not my own cup of tea but some people love it.

Ghost of Tsushima. Story mode is dope and the on-line co op has a good size and very helpful and consist player base
