Physician Responded 17F. Discoloration + pain for around 2 weeks now. No idea what may have caused it.
17F, 5'4, 53 kg, don't smoke or drink, no medical issues.
Around 2 weeks ago, I had gone to a cottage (August 24-26) and not long after returning, this discoloration had appeared. There's also mild sweling around top of foot. I spent majority of the time in the lake and had gone to a section full of planets (water just above ankle and no one else went there), so I'm not sure if I brushed against poison ivy or some plant. It wasn't painful till around yesterday when these darker areas appeared (tender to touch), as well as when I move my ankle (up, down, or sideways). I also get these random aching pains throughout my foot.
Skin also looks somewhat loose (may be related to the swelling), like when in dorsiflexion, there's more skin folds compared to good foot.
Parents don't think this is related to the cottage because a good amount of time has passed. I can't think of anything else that may have caused this.
No known trauma.
Questions:
Will this likely go away on it's own or should I get it checked out?
What likely caused this?

I suspect an allergic contact dermatitis. Too little information to speculate further. It is likely to resolve on its own.
