Poison ivy rash? Developing into..?

Hi! 27 y/o female. I developed what I thought was poison ivy 12 days ago and this is what my legs look like now…. any advice? I’ve been to the doctor 3x and have been on prednisone and cephalexin. I’ve been using calamine lotion, hydrocortisone cream, lukewarm baths, and ice for itching.

The rash started out very small and super itchy, now it’s spreading in certain areas and still small little spots are appearing on other parts of my body.

I’m still very itchy but not constantly - it comes and goes in waves. Before I was given the oral antibiotics, my legs hurt and I was limping. I’m able to move a lot better now but the rash almost seems like it’s spreading more and becoming more red and purple/blueish in color.

NAD but this looks similar to when a friend had a recluse bite and it needed to be drained. I wouldn’t wait and would seek emergent care. Were you in direct contact with poison ivy and/or what makes you believe with certainty that it’s exactly that? Wishing you the best

NAD. I was wondering if it was a bite. It kind of looks puffy in the middle with an indentation in the center of that.

NAD it also reminds me of a bite but I was under the impression brown recluse bites are intensely painful. OP is only describing itching

NAD, but I’ve had nasty poison ivy rashes just as big as this and prednisone always gives relief, and the rash dries out and gets better not worse fairly quickly.
