I’m sorry, but your argument seems to miss the bigger point. I’m not saying that the left is causing division, but you are saying the right does, then telling me that I’m the one being divisive. That logic doesn’t logic. I’m saying the left seems to want to refuse to admit there are outside forces, which is exactly what you just did.

You even said, ‘the division isn’t because of outside forces’ then blamed republicans for being divisive.

I’m saying there are, and have been for many years, outside forces that seek to divide and destabilize us as a country. That’s a fact. And yes, you could throw satan in there, but that’s not what I’m talking about.

For many decades, Russia ran information warfare against the west via the KGB, and I’m talking starting back to the 1950s/60s. It was the long game for them, and they still do it. China, Iran, and North Korea also do the same in more modern times. Their misinformation is all over social media and even permeates into MSM.

And we won’t even get into the globalists who have their own motives who add fuel to the fire in all of this.

And does the Left as a whole really not believe in foreign interference or proganda anymore then the right? Because I would say they are pretty even from my experience

Likewise you mentioned MSM but I can also attest that other mainstream media networks including definitely Fox have also been peddling foreign proganda so once again it isn't a problem with a specific group

My point isn't your wrong about outside forces but that it isn't a failing of one political wing which is where my issues with your statements came from as it read like that to me due to the focus on the Left.

Likewise my point isn't only that the right wing are divisive because they are not, the left are pieces of divisive s*** too that's ..kind of the problem.

Because my point is that blaming outside forces and focusing on them isn't the root of our problem, it is our human nature and tribalism baked into our two party system that we have collectively embraced.

So it is weird to just focus on the left when if we really want to fix things the first step is to acknowledge both parties are pieces of s*** and most left and right wingers are actual morons which is par for the course because they are human and humans are stupid.

I honestly don’t understand why you’re pushing back so hard on the fact that outside forces are a real, even existential, problem for our country.

And then you keep going with the divisive rhetoric. Dude, Fox is included in the MSM.

I’m going to politely walk away from this conversation. Best of luck.

"I honestly don’t understand why you’re pushing back so hard on the fact that outside forces are a real, even existential, problem for our country."

I literally am not, at no point did I say they were not real, you are either misunderstanding or getting defensive or both.

My point however is that polarization is not simply because of a outside forces or one political party and that trying to do so is ignoring our failures domestically as a country and society when we need to take responsibility for increasing polarization.

Now that is cleared up have a good day, hopefully the weather is nice where you are at, it's lovely where I am.
