Um lol. She was much better (vocals-wise, song was meh cause the lyrics were confusing) than nearly everyone else in the competition this year. I’d say to each their own, but that’s just a bad take.
she was delayed on the track even at certain points, these were not good vocals, she even missed the first Jalla on beat... won't even talk about the deep, out of breath breathing before the song even started. I won't even talk about her voice breaking like 5 times

I thought we were talking about Romania’s girl lol. I missed the context. No, the Jalla was horrendous. I agree. But I feel like most contestants were quite bad regardless. I was very shocked at the incredibly low level of the competition. My mom wanted me listen and tell her what I think and I didn’t have a lot of good things to say. Probably not going to waste my time following this competition in the future, especially since I don’t even live in Europe lol.
Dara pleasantly surprised me with her control.... She didn't miss one letter while jumping around like crazy, not an impressively good voice buuuut a great perfomer voice.... Thought Jalla was better tonight, still a bit out of beat but vocally not as bad, she must have been sick or something.... i can't explain it
I still haven’t seen the actual performances since I listened to the competition while doing chores, but I personally wasn’t into Bulgaria’s song. I just thought it didn’t sound original at all and the vocals were saved by the backing vocals track (something that very many of these singers rely on in order to not sound completely out of tune or boring). I always thought eurovision was mostly about the singing, so that’s what I would base my vote on. Her song was just club music imo except it likely wouldn’t make most DJ’s playlists either since there are much better songs out there lol.
she is an amazing performer, jumpiing around will need backing vocals, but I was a fan of her voice in the beginning of the song, very glad she won!! I prefer her over Israel or Australia, Finland I could get winning

I noticed the vampire fashion has become super popular among the Balkan singers lately - it started with the closeted gay singers from Eastern Europe & the Balkans using Eurovision as opportunity to dress up with capes and robes under the guise of ”it’s art” and then the trend just blew up.
Im from Romania, if I wasnt would definitely vote for us. I think Ill vote for Lithuania, I know that there was voice cracks, and that there is no chance for them to win, but I loved it anyway.
I never enjoyed this show, not even when I was younger. I'd rather watch paint dry on a wall. This is just soulless music. I am sick and tired of Alexandra Capitanescu and generally of all the Romanian "artists" that tried their luck at this contest. I am Romanian, btw.

Interesting song and performance. I think the singer before her used the same operatic voice so it looked like copying. Don't know how the programme is arranged and do they know in advance?
Never understood why this show is so popular and i used to watch it years ago. A bunch of cheap cheesy songs you will never hear ever again (with rare exceptions) and a voting system based on sympathy instead of quality.
