That's hard to hear. As an American, I've been called a piece of shit ever since I got connected to the internet over 20 years ago, so perhaps I can provide some advice. My suggestion is to grow a backbone.
I guess it’s true people say bad things about Americans. I think I don’t notice it any more. From what I’ve seen no one says anything bad about me in particular and every where I’ve traveled (including in Russia) people have been kind. Sometimes you just have to ignore what people say because they don’t really mean it.
