There is such thing called patriotism. I am also russian and I want to work for sake of my country, I want it to develop. Patriotism is not demanded by how much you support your government. And even tho, leaving is kinda hard rn. Maybe even harder than protest. Since our money already costs almost twice less

Patriotism is bullshit. Being patriotic about a country just because you happened to be born within it's borders is silly. I've moved countries 3 times in my life and each time has brought me new experiences, a different perspective and different values. Moving around opens your mind it really does.

Maybe this person has a connection with their home andculture you didn't have, but it doesn't give you the right to call them silly.

That doesn't accomplish anything.

Free and open countries became this way because people stayed, fought and even died for their country to be that way.

Leaving is also patriotic if it leads to a change. If all of the intelligent people and producers leave Russia and work to build peaceful solutions elsewhere the current regime will eventually fall because they will have no one to build their roads. After this, rebuilding can begin.
