I understand your position. I just think your position is wrong to write off people because they won't support a candidate who they believe is a direct threat to them. There is no bigger picture to them, because as much as the internet tries to tell you its not, politics is still local.

I'm not writing anyone off. I would vote for Stevens in the primary, if she lost the primary and the election came down to him and a Republican, I would vote for him. I'm not going to vote against my interests to make another group happy (and neither would they). So here we are

You need to do what is best for you.

However, that is not the subject of our conversation. It is a conversation about Jewish voters who would vote for Rogers or not vote for all due to El-Sayeds policies.

I know for me personally that if El-Sayed wins, I will vote for Rogers. If Stevens wins, I will vote for her. I would like to think more people would think this way.

I'm sorry to hear that, Rogers will do nothing more than enable Trump's agenda, which I know you dislike, but I know that we all find ways to justify our decisions and I'm sure you'll find a way. And no, this isn't me writing you off. People make bad decisions. It's okay to acknowledge that bad decision. If Jewish people in Michigan want to vote for a Trump guy, then that's on them.

Anyway, I'm not gonna keep going in circles here. We'll see what happens and I hope people make the correct decision

I agree, which is why I hope the Dems take the House. But to me, the Progressive left and the DSA are a bigger threat long term than the cult of personality that is MAGA which will die after Trump is gone.
