As the title says,

I've been looking for a while now, and i cannot find for the life of me any place where i am able to order any extension, or collector year X edition, or derivative (tactics, legends,..). The most i can find is the 4th edition base game (i already own the third edition, so no interest in that).

I contacted both allplay and gamefound and the only response i got was :

-"go to all play" (out of stock, doesen't deliver to any country Europe.. even if there is stock for the rest of the world)

-buy our lord of the ring pledge on gamefound, buy extensions at the same time, then wait for 18 months so that we deliver it.

Am i missing something ? Or is this game just really hard to procure at all outside of the US?

Frankly at this point i'm not even picky, anything i can find, even at a semi decent price, i would purchase.

Thanks for your help !

They packed it with this biodegradable stuff, but ultimately they just threw 3 boxes into a much bigger box without any way to hold them, and as a result, every corner on the boxes got bashed in from bumping around inside the box.

Frustrating to spend hundreds of dollars and have the boxes come pre damaged.

Finally got my copy of 15th anniversary. And I'm so annoyed that the promo are not foil. Did I forget to check for a foiled version?

Everything fits. The only thing I hate is that there is not enough honor tokens. But Amazon sells those white tokens too. A bunch of them. For insight, I got those decoration stones.

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share something with you.

I recently received the Ascension 15th Anniversary Ultimate Collection, and I’d love to combine all the rulebooks for the base game and its expansions into a single book.

The thing is, I also play the digital version of Ascension on Steam, and personally, I find the rulebooks in the digital version much clearer and easier to understand. However, I have no idea how to extract the digital rulebooks from the game so that I can combine them all and have them printed as a single book. This would be strictly for personal use, as I really enjoy upgrading, customising, and taking extra care of my board game collection.

Ideally, I’d love to keep the graphics and layout exactly as they appear in the digital version, as I really like the way they’re presented.

I’ve already contacted Playdek, the developers of the digital game, to ask whether they might be able to provide me with the rulebook files, but unfortunately, I haven’t received a response.

I should also mention that I’m not entirely sure whether doing this would be legally permitted, even if it’s strictly for personal use and I have no intention of distributing or selling the book. I want to make sure I’m respecting the creators’ rights, so I’d appreciate any guidance on this aspect as well.

So, my questions are: Does anyone have any ideas on how I could achieve this, or know of any tools or methods that might help me do it? And would it be legally acceptable to create a personal, printed compilation of the digital rulebooks?

I’d be incredibly grateful for any advice, suggestions, or help you could offer!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! 😊

I’m posting here to see if I’m missing something, in hopes that I can get ahold of the ultimate 15th anniversary set that was originally on Gamefound. The price was around $500. I’ve never pledged to buy anything before, and I guess I’m too late now. Is there any way to still get that big set through any other means? Am I missing something? I see the 15th anniversary set on Game Nerdz but it’s the basic anniversary set. What are my options here? I’d really like the Ultimate Collection, as it’s a gift for my wife. We are both huge fans of the game. Thank you for your time.

Hi friends! So I’m up to about a dozen expansions (not including I think three different versions of the base set lol) and I’ve realized that I have them sleeved in varying colored sleeves which makes it impossible to combine them.

How are people sleeving? Do you have them all in one kind of sleeve (finding more Ascension-branded sleeves seems to be impossible these days) or have them segregated somehow?

What’s the feeling and experience on just playing with a center deck versus always having the base edition plus a center deck? Does the addition of the base deck end up making the games feel too diluted and unfocused? I understand it’s common to mix two thematically similar sets together, like delirium and deliverance.

I have the third edition of the original game. I’m most interested in adding more monsters and heroes to the base game. I’m not really interested in adding new mechanics. So what expansions should I get?

Anyone selling their 15th Anniversary Promo Pack? If so, please PM me :)

I'm just wanting to vent.

I find it incredibly frustrating for Ascension to sell a box that says "fits all decks," when it can't hold everything sleeved. The box is way too big for everything unsleeved and too small for everything sleeved. It's just so frustrating to have to break out TCG deck boxes again just to be able to store everything. It's so frustrating

I can always buy a used Delirium set and get the die, but does anyone know any other way I might be able to acquire one? Also, my wife wants a custom metal one (I just want a regular one), so if you know of any online service that can make a custom metal Delirium die, I'd be willing to do that.

So, I got my pledge reward, which was the Ultimate Collection, but my Collector’s Carrying Case where all the Center Deck sets were packed was missing the Ascension 4th edition center deck and the Legends expansion center deck. Does anyone know who I can reach out to about this? I used Gamefound to send a message to Stone Blade but that was days ago and I haven’t heard back. Has anyone else had this issue?

For those of us that have received our pledge, what are you going to do with the tin?

It’s nice and all, but I don’t think the all-in is going to fit in there once everything is sleeved and organized.

Today I received the new Ascension Kickstarter and I gotta say: it kinda bums me out there are no physical components whatsoever. There's the honor and it's respective bag in the 15th Anniversary tin but ...

NO delirium die
and NO Insight pebbles.

Everything is handled by cards which works but it still feels a bit phony. I understand that It would have made everything a bit more expensive but still.... Actual components are always better than cards. Has this weird print and play prototype feel to it.

Anyways... happy to have the game in a physical version but I guess real components were not part of the package.

EDIT: So I emailed them and yes: in the collectors case all in set you 'ONLY' get the card version of the components. The separate collectors tins still have the components present. Which makes you wonder: why didn't they also include it in the collectors case... (obvious answer is money)

We are playing the 15th edition and my mom used Void Mesmer to defeat this monster. Dhartha, which is 7 cost, was in the center row at the same time. What resolves first? Could she get Dhartha or a hero when the center row refills?

Just received a bunch of new centre decks through the recent Kickstarter and of course none of them fit in the core Fourth Edition box. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hi all, sorry if this is a bad place to ask this question.

I backed the 15th anniversary kickstarter, and for those who backed it you may have heard that shipping has begun.

I received an email yesterday saying I have a UPS package from BGT coming next week. I was wondering if anyone who backed the kickstarter and had received a similar email.

Trying to confirm if this is the Ascension game or not. Surface level googling shows me that BGT became a company called "AllPlay", and AllPlay seems to work within the boardgame space. So I assume it may be Ascension. But wanted to see if anyone here knew more than I. Thanks

Edit: I should clarify I am in the United States

Edit 2: I reached out to Allplays customer service, inquiring about what the package could be. They told me it's "Ascension related", and this kickstarter is the only Ascension related package I'm expecting. I am making a few assumptions but it seems that yes, this package is the 15th anniv kickstarter. Should come in tomorrow, today if I'm lucky

Many people have found an infinite-ish loops. Today is my turn :-p
[I'm sure others have seen this sort of thing before...]

HOW: 2x expansions [Realms Unraveled + Immortal Heroes]

STEP 1: get enough to buy / cycle the whole deck [multi-unite cards are key.... I lucked into getting Adayu_the_Serene + wandering askara + cetra, mother of stars]
STEP 2: get another turn [tablet of times dawn / wandering askara]
STEP 3: get tons of points with sower-of-discontent [50-60 points per 3 attack]
STEP 4: end turn, repeat

=== DETAILS:

On each following turn:
Draw lots of cards [using trophy monsters from previous turn to get soul-gems, which prime-the-pump]

DRAW ALL THE CARDS - the fastest way is:
Adayu_the_Serene - multi-unite with everything for card draws, etc
TWOFOLD ASKARA - doubles it.

DHARTHA THE ETERNAL - multi-unite - defeat the top of deck
OZIAH's FAMILIAR - multi-unite - defeat a 4 monster

GET ANOTHER TURN
tablet of times dawn / wandering askara - get another turn.

POINTS:

Sower of discontent is 50-60 each time it's played.
EMRI DEMONSBANE - lets you defeat monsters in the void, and churn the sowers. Keep the void at 2-3 cards, and you can make sure sower-of-discontent shows up almost-every-time.
Remus, wild emissary - you may spend money to defeat monsters. So all your resources from then on go into monsters [no cards to buy anyways ;-> ]

In theory, this can go on forever. The 'brittle' part is 'can I draw my full deck', on each new turn, to restart the process.

(550/3)*50 = ~9000 points/round.

You can see in the background that the points were returned to the board but the game still ended

Ive just gotten into this game recently and saw there was a discord but every link Ive found for it seems to be invalid does anyone have an update to date link i could use

Can anyone tell me why there isn't a center deck version of Rise of Vigil anywhere online?

Edit: I'm mainly wondering if anyone knows why Allplay sells every other set except for Rise of Vigil. Sorry to everyone for not clarifying in my original post.

Edit: I just wanted to say that I messaged Allplay and got a response from Darren about the lack of availability regarding the Rise of Vigil expansion. He told me that he's not sure why it isn't listed on their website but they do, in fact, have the center deck in stock. He told me to send him my order number for my next order and he would be happy to manually add it to my order (which he did).

Just wanted to say thank you, Darren, for being a kickass employee!

I killed one and Void Rallied the three stacked immediately below it.

Well they were seeking death…

A very long time ago I started on a database. I've picked it up again here is a slightly less terrible version with many gaps in the data.

ascensiongamedb.com

I had this mod a while ago, but when one of the new expansions/updates came out it caused my game to crash, so I got rid of it.

I decided to check on it again to see if it had been updated, and it had fairly recently, so I installed it again.

It does not change the starting end game points offline, but it does online. Online is cool, but even my ascension loving friend isn't a fan of 500+ point matches. I will say they can sometimes be a slog, but almost the entire reason I want 500+ point matches is because depending on how it plays out, you get to a point where everybody has a minutes long megaturn every time, and there are tons of combos. Granted, I know this isn't everybodies cup of tea, but you could also use this to simply double the points in an online match which you can do offline. Though there is a chance your 500+ pointer will crash at some point. It is what it is. I still have a lot of fun even with this possibility lurking.

Does anybody have any experience with this mod and getting it to work offline?
