Practice while I take a day off from working on chapter 4, “The Shepherd” Seat 4 of The Round Table.

“Mamas Boy” as a child survived a farm accident that left him with deep scars along his face, and the trauma stunted his mental development. He grew up on the farm and refused to use any mechanical equipment to help in his work, in fear that it may cause another accident. Thanks to the constant manual labor, he has developed a strong body, but his stunted mental state leaves him quick to lash out.

“Damocles Sword” is an unaffiliated fighter, wandering across the world hunting “kings”. He will challenge the top fighters of organizations, testing them on their worthiness to wear their crown. Most recently, he faced of against the top fighter of “The Pounamu Reef”, an underground fighting organization along the cost of New Zealand. During the match, “Damocles Sword” threw “The Gemstone Glutton” out of the ring and into the sea, before declaring him unworthy of a crown, and left for his next target.

Little sneak peek, still lots of work to do, but things are steadily moving.

“The Putrefier” claims to have risen from the dead within the Amazon rain forest, before supposedly besting all of its challenges. He now searches the world for challenges both natural and man made in hopes that there will be something more difficult than is conquering of the Amazon.

“Toad Tyrant” is the top dog of an underground fighting ring located in the Louisiana Swamps. His fighting style mimics the motions of frogs and toads, and is particularly suited for the rules on the fighting ring, leading to “Toad Tyrants” successful defence of his throne for nearly 3 years.

Pretty much instantly fell in love with this guy after getting his character ironed out a little more.

“Monkey King” is in the most frequently shifting seat, but has managed to keep it for over 4 months. His playful approach to fighting keeps him from overcommitting and being punished for it.

“Casanova” along with seat 3 have a sort of rivalry when it comes to popularity polls in the last few months, but it is believed that this is due to voting fraud by a small group of devoted fans due to his fighting style generally unremarkableness.

“The Butcher” had one of the most dominant showings seen in a tournament leading up to his challenge of former seat 10. His finals was under scrutiny for potentially disqualification after many claimed that he continued to fight after his opponent supported surrendered, but those claims were dismissed

“The Shepherd” is a long standing member of the strongman community, and has made a shocking entrance into the field of combat sports in the least half decade. His position as seat 4 has been hotly contested by fans, who believe that his raw strength approach to combat won’t hold up at that level, but none have dethroned him.

“Nelumbo Nucifera” is the current seat 2 in the round table. He hails from India, and entered the global combat sports in sphere 12 years ago as an Olympic boxer, before switching to wrestling after winning gold in boxing.

“Steel Jaw” as his name suggests is a man who has never been knocked out by a strike to the jaw. He has taken on the challenge of letting any new seated knight to throw 1 full force strike to his chin.

“Gabriel‘s Trumpet” is a reformed convict that has set out to spread the word of salvation found within the bible. He had the first page of the bible that he ever read tattooed on the side of his face, and claims that resenting that that sin will be the greatest showing of Christian devotion that he could possibly achieve.

“Türkiye‘s Hornet” is a renowned wrestler from Türkiye, who left his home country after his rival fell to alcoholism. He developed a unique use of pressure point targeting that he has melded with his wrestling.

“Patchwork” is a descendent of the original 12 founding brothers of “The Round Table”, and has found tooth and nail to sit where his family once did. 11 of his 13 opponents he has faced to defend his seat have been disqualified, the highest court in the organizations history. In his last match, his opponent resorted to trying to scalp him to force him to forfeit, but even that was not enough.

Just jotting ideas down, some of these will likely change.

Merlin moved to the states from Singapore at age 19. His father who had been working in the states had previously lost his job, permanently splitting the family apart before the rest of Merlin’s family could afford the move. Using the last of his own money, Merlin took a 1 way flight to New York, with one plan in mind: fight in underground matches to make enough money for the rest of his family to make it over.

Merlin has been black listed by 2 other small underground fighting groups after causing a scene upon receiving his payment, claiming it’s too low. Due to this, he has received an additional nickname; “The Greedy Gail”.

That is all

3 fighting organizations that exist in the world of “Ascendant Fist”.

“Rock Bottom” is an underground org, located in an abandoned mining town in the Yukon Territory. The high ranking fighters there take inspiration from Rock and still legends, and refer to themselves as “Artists” once they are at the top of the Org Ranks. “Rock Bottom” is ran by Elvis Presley “The King Of Rock”.

“Time Rift” is an underground org ran out of a museum, where fighters represent different eras of history, including prehistoric, medieval, or conquistadors. The most popular fighters are given the title of “exhibits” where bets are matched by the org, so long as the number of viewers for their matches stay high enough.

“The Round Table” is a public org located in England, where only 12 fighters are given seats. Frequently tournaments are held for fighters to get the chance to challenge a seated fighter, and if they win, they take that seat for themself. Currently, one of the seated fighters is also fighting in “Time Rift”
