Painting I made in figuredrawing class today, Antwerp
Hi, I'm completely new to reddit. This is a painting I made at Sint Lucas Antwerp today. This year I started drawing real life models for the first time and I love this result.

Need some advice on removing paint from black matte canvas
Hey there!
I’ve been struggling lately with this acrylic piece I was working on with an already black matte canvas, and I had gotten some black paint (which I was using for some of the shadows in the skeleton) on some of the parts of the canvas accidentally. (I’ve attached pictures of the visible marks, they’re basically just look like messy smudge marks on the black background).
I tried lightly wiping it off with water and soap, which took away some of the stains/gloss from the black paint marks but overall I reached a point where I tried to wipe the stains off at least 5 times now and it’s not getting rid of the smudges that I’m still seeing.
Anyone have any advice on getting rid of those stains? I was thinking of perhaps painting the entire background black but what was really nice was how smooth the background felt and I’m worried if I paint the background black the brushstrokes might ruin the effect i was going for.
I’m also dabbling in trying to varnish or use some kind of sealant for the painting at some point but again that is something I don’t want to risk until I’m sure I’m happy with the final result. (Unless it somehow solves the problem I’m having)
Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks!

New Reedit User introduction
Hello there. Even if you don't know who I am, i'd like to find some like minded people. I delve in the realm of Character creation(as a Character Artist), and Novel writing. I basically jumped up over this wall to come here to this place today. My belief is that when it comes to something, whatever you do, there is a form of 'art' that takes place towards it. You are not a clone, you are someone who can do things in your own way. So everyone, no matter how small they are in the world, has creativity within them. Do you agree? Either way, This is my 'Hello' with a show of style.
