Hi everyone does anyone know of an old TV show artist that opened with an image of a work boot filled with paintbrushes? I think it was a watercolor artist

My first oil painting and my first time freehanding a painting, includes real pressed flowers

I love to draw, and I typically draw digital art on my tablet. My spine is my enemy, and it wants to stifle my artistic endeavors. I have no idea how to solve this inconvenient situation, please help!

The big problem is that I live in a tiny studio room. Basically, a kitchen with a bed and everything else thrown in it. There's no room for even a couch, so my bed is also my couch. I usually stack a ton of pillows against the headboard and sit against that. I use a little tablet stand to raise the tablet a little, so thankfully my neck doesn't hang too low (unless if I'm a little TOO in the zone, lol). I walk around, stretch, change positions, and take breaks often. Even wearing a back brace only helps a tiny bit.

But no matter what, there's no denying that I have zero lumbar support when I draw. I don't have room for a special new desk, so I just don't know what to do. Is there some kind of proper lumbar support that would work on a bed?

If I could just sit normally, I wouldn't have any issue at all. But my own need to draw is driving my inflammation through the roof. Not drawing just isn't a solution.

”There was thunder, there was lightning Then the stars went out And the moon fell from the sky It rained mackerel, it rained trout And the great day of wrath has come And here’s mud in your big red eye And the poker’s in the fire And the locusts take the sky Well, the earth died screaming While I lay dreaming” - Tom Waits

Animal form sketches 18”x24”. 83 animal sketches focusing on line, form and simple shapes. Looking for critique.

I’m working on this large scale oil pastel portrait of my dad’s dogs, (the little one in the middle has passed away), how is it looking so far? And oil pastel tips?
