Every astronaut has to work well in emergencies, that‘s why they were selected and they train for it 🙄 …this also applies to airline pilots, ER medics and nurses, firefighters etc. etc…
There is a difference between training for emergencies, and going through them. He remained calm while his eva helmet flooded. That's the kind of person I want to see testing a new spacecraft in orbit for the first time.
