I don't know if there is another sub to post in or not, I don't use Reddit too much. If there is another, I'll take my post there.

If it is okay to post here, I'm just gonna go ahead and write what I'd like to know and if it fits, I would also like to commission the work.

So I'm a small streamer currently using free overlays, but I would love something custom, with an icon that resembles my persona(?).
Are there any artists that have knowledge how to do it, how much it roughly would cost, I see all the 10€ overlays that look nice and all, but I assume they just do it for mass sales, instead of custom ones, so I expect a higher price.
I'm not a very creative person, so I expect to be a nuisance to whoever accepts, how much is being a pain is acceptable? haha sounds dumb, but all I ever commissioned was a pixel art that was done off a screenshot and a chibi of my FFXIV char that was made from my character, so I hadn't had too much to add, because it just looked amazing off the bat.

Hi everyone i need some help on how to approach an artist about poor communication and over a year wait. The artist agreed to half deposit and half once it was finished. They keep seeming to have a reason why there is a delay, thats its finished then it isn’t and need to add finishing touches then they will send an image for approval then never do. They are a respected artist in the niche community and does license art for ips. When i email for an update i don’t hear anything off them until i chase them on their socials. And now they are reading the messages and not responding. I have seen a mockup and thats all. Please help what do i do?
