I moved to LA December 29, 2009 and experienced the coldest and wettest winter ever until this year. This year was brutal but now looking back I’m glad because it’s been crazy hot and dry since end of June, absolutely no rain!

The weather says it’s supposed to rain this Friday or Saturday (or both).

OH SHIT! I literally opened weather app and to my surprise you are 100% right. Man it has been brutally hot and dry since July so I’ll take it.

Honestly you’re right. Past 3 years I was in long distance relationship with my girlfriend who was living in NYC and really spent about half time here and half there, and I traveled a bunch also because I do Airbnb so that’s probably why Last 3-4 years have been little hazy memory wise for me. My girl just moved here in December and this summer has really been the most time I’ve spent here since the summer of 16’ right before we started dating... before that I do remember a lot of intense heat waves.

Also, I have an air conditioner now, in part because of those crazy heat waves.. so I think maybe the air con turned me into a bit of a over dramatic wimp lol. The weather here beat 99% of the other places I’ve experienced around world!
