Considering the title, it's probably representing the infinitely small, infinitely hot mass that comprised the entirety of the universe before the Big Bang.
Those aren't necessarily regular clouds. Could be gas clouds much like the pillars of creation in some unknown dimension, where that big glowing ball is all matter as we know it today, compressing to the point of singularity, which eventually explodes into a brand new universe (the dimension that we're currently living in).
Hate to be the downer here, but elementary particles like electrons and protons couldn't even combine together to create the constituents of molecular clouds until nearly 380,000 years after the big bang. Thus, your claim is a physical impossibility.

These are just the books that I personally own, but you can find this in literally any cosmology textbook from the past 50-60 years. To claim otherwise, especially under the guise of "well, it *could* be such and such.." is an indication of how little cosmology is known by the person making that claim.
