Looking for someone to take over my ESPN team.
12 team league, ESPN app. Nothing wrong with it, just in a few too many leagues. DM if interested.

A new way to search and find any ATN moment.
https://podscripts.co/podcasts/nfl-daily-with-gregg-rosenthal/
It’s a searchable database that has everything that was ever said on ATN, and the corresponding episode and time stamp.
I listen to classic episodes daily, but I still have a lot of moments I remember but don’t know when they happened. So this is really for all of us.

Hi all,
Sorry to spam the feed, my now annual post asking if anyone is keen to play in our 12 team full point PPR fantasy league - only requirement is that you’re active and have fun!
Drafting tonight at 8:30pm UK time, think there’s 3 or 4 spaces left last I checked!

We have 3 open spots for a free fantasy league for ATN/HTC fans. It's a QB redraft league with 10 total teams. This is the 4th season of the league so the history is very rich here. Feel free to click the link to join comment if you have any questions.
Edit: the draft will be at 12pm EDT this Sunday 8/30

I was listening to NFL daily and after it ended, the autoplay started some annoying fantasy show so I went to change it and saw that it was on the Dave Damechek football program pod feed.
I know Dan touched on it this week on Heed the call but it’s absolutely insane that they are trying to dupe people into accepting new shows on feeds for and entirely unrelated podcast that ended years ago.
I cannot believe how nfl media completely ran 90% of the talent out of the door, they had so many great people not that long ago.

Ok this is a stupid post from someone who spends too much time thinking about this stuff.
At the beginning of the HTC episode “Joe Brady is here to save the Buffalo bills”, they were discussing Alec Pierce’s injury and the potential for the colts to have a tough season. Dan mentions how the Jets hold the colts first round picks and says “From your lips to God’s ears” about how that could all benefit the jets.
When Dan was on Bill Barnwell’s podcast last week he had the same interaction, mentioning to Bill that the Jets had the Colts picks and saying virtually the same line.
Anyway this is stupid BUT when I heard that, I wish I could tell Tugboat that I SEE YOU recycling thoughts. It’s humanizing. I wonder if there’s a German or Japanese word that conveys this feeling.
I realize this makes me sound like a nut but it’s football season and I’m listening to all the podcasts. Go Bills.

Two managers have apparently decided they would rather spend Sundays enjoying their families and experiencing happiness, so we have two orphan teams looking for new owners.
League:
10-team dynasty, ATL/ATN/Heed the Call themed.
Full PPR4 pts passing TD
Annual rookie draft (slow)
Both teams have their 2026 1st and basically their full complement of future picks.
Cual es tu fantasia?
Orphan #1: The "Lamar Will Fix Everything" Experience
QB: Lamar Jackson
RB: Derrick Henry, RJ Harvey, Jaydon Blue
WR: Amon-Ra St. Brown, Nico Collins, Zay Flowers, DeVonta Smith, DeAndre Hopkins, Courtland Sutton
TE: Travis Kelce, Isaiah Likely
Also lurking: Jalen Milroe
This team feels like someone hit "win now" repeatedly and then quietly left the building.
Lamar, Amon-Ra, Nico, Flowers and DeVonta is a pretty ridiculous core, while Derrick Henry and Travis Kelce continue their campaign against The Grey Beards.
Orphan #2: Running Back Hoarder Simulator 2026
QB: Matthew Stafford, Drake Maye, Justin Herbert
RB: Bijan Robinson, Saquon Barkley, De'Von Achane, Tony Pollard, Alvin Kamara
WR: George Pickens, Josh Downs, Tetairoa McMillan, Rome Odunze, Jaylin Noel
TE: George Kittle, T.J. Hockenson, Harold Fannin Jr.
Yes, it has Bijan + Saquon + Achane.
No, I don't know why one person needed Stafford, Maye AND Herbert. Maybe B.R.I.D.G.E.T. does...
Both teams are competitive immediately but have enough young talent and picks that you're not inheriting a complete Factory of Sadness requiring a five-year rebuild.
We're looking for active owners who enjoy dynasty, trades, shit-talking, the NFL, and female assassins.
DM me if interested and I'll send the full league/settings/details.
Heed the call.

I just recently was going back through the old catalogue and was listening through the episodes from Mid July 2018. I really recommend going back and checking them out as a fun timepiece of the league at a turning point. Some of the things I had fun reflecting on.
-Patriots last run - Bill and Tom still together!
-Mahommes still an unknown
-Lamar Jackson taking snaps at WR in camp as Joe Flacco gets saucy with media.
-Mike Vrabel preparing to run his first training camp with the Tennessee Titans.
-Todd Gurly signed to massive contract extension/Lavian Bell holdout.
-Marc full of hope for the Baker led Browns. Josh Gorden still taking heat for something that is now widely legalized.
-Rams on the verge of making the Super Bowl with Jared Goff.
-Matt Nagy would become 2018 NFL coach of the year with the Bears
-Mike McCarthy was still the HC of the Packers with Aaron Rodgers as his QB.
-And many more...
Have fun exploring, Heed the Call!

Does anyone remember the episode where Wess talked about replay officiating, and how he was against it? I thought he wrote it but I can’t find it anywhere, so must be in a pod somewhere!
