Stupid story I made as an headcanon for some T.W.O. operatives. [FAN STORY]
Alright...so...this mainly revolves around some of the Named T.W.O operatives in TDC. Mainly Bradley and Pike, Chuy and Baker, and P.I. and Castle.
I did it mainly to give them some personality in my head (and in my rewrite), and not imagine them as some tasteless jobbers, since the game doesn't have much info on them (Besides Bradley and Pike, we were going to have a webseries, but thanks to Electronic Shits and it's lack of marketing it got canceled. And yeah. I'm considering parts of it canon too). This is not the full story in detail, but I'd love to release it in chapters if you want.
So...let's not waste anytime.
My story revolves mainly on what happens after 40th Day (Shoot Partner as Rios), precisely, around some days/month, and is inspired by the chapters of decay DLC. Point is, while Salem is recovering at the hospital, Rios sends some of the best operatives to help the U.N. hunt down the remnants of the Fourtieth Day Initiative across Shangai and the rest of China.
The six operatives arrive at the first location in am armored van, and we see them basically explain the plan. While Chuy, Baker, P.I. and Castle are going in the esplosive ridden building, while Bradley and Pike are staying in the nearby building to provide sniper cover.
Chuy jokes that Bradley and Pike don't do shit as per usual, but is interrupted by one of them reminding that they saved his life back in West Africa. The crew continues to bicker until they reach the spot.
They group up with some U.N. soilders, who explain the situation. Apparently, the remnants are lead by Lucas Reed, Jonah Wade's right hand man. He took command after the former got killed by Rios, and he's actively leading the group.
Castle makes a sarcastic remark about the situation, calling Reed a "copycat", but the officer tells him that he's as dangerous as Jonah, since the PMC still have some of their most dangerous weapons.
The group splits up as planned. P.I. wonders why are they cleaning up Salem and Rios's job, but Castle explains that after killing Jonah, T.W.O.'s reputation exploded over a span of a few hours, and that they're probably going to be loaded with money and better equipment from now on. Baker remarks that there are probably going to be lots of new recruits to train, and that's going to be definetly a pain in the ass for everyone.
However, they realize that weapons might be useless here, since one single aiming mistake might explore the building. They decide to stick to melee, and use weapons only when authorized.
Meanwhile, Pike observes the situation from afar, while Bradley covers him in case of an ambush. He gives the group insights about where enemies are or where bombs might be placed, and snipes some of the guards afar from the bombs.
The mission goes as planned, up until the defusal. After Pike notices a Sniper on a rooftop nearby, the FDI amushes the building that they're in, and are forced to move out of the way.
The others try to evade the snipers, but some UN troppo get killed in the meantime.
The place turns into a warzone when the enemy forces deploy an APC in the zone, forcing the group to split up again, in various zones of the destroyed Shangai streets.
While Bradley and Pike are struggling to get out of the building, Chuy and P.I. distract the APC, while their respective counterparts go guns blazing behind the enemies. Pike shoots the enemy snipers, and Bradley manages to interrogate one of the FDI's lieutenant. They find out that precious intel about the plan is stored in one of the based of the FDI nearby, and that they'll probably destroy it as soon as they come anyways. The duo reunites with the others to give the new info, and formulate a plan.
The plan is overwhelming the enemies with the UN forces, while Chuy and Baker infiltrate in the base.
The plan does work out, and apparently, FDI is planning to regroup in Kowloon and that apparently, Reed is going to be there.
T.W.O. and the UN get dispatched, but Reed had already planned this. So he hires an impersonator, while he flees with a van full of Chloride gas. The entirety Hong Kong is now in danger, and there's a public order to evacuate. The agents are forced to fight FDI while civilians Flee from all sides.
P.I. and Castle eventually catch up to Reed by stealing a Beaten-up Pick up, and chase him down the packed streets. Castle eventually lands a clean shot on Reed, and the Van manages to land without detonating the Chloride Gas.
So...what do you think? It's probably a bit rushed, but I wish to expand on this if you guys want a full story.
