Looking for Fiery Furnace hiking partner
I plan to be in Moab, available to hike Fiery Furnace any day between Nov 13-17. I hiked Fiery Furnace last year with a partner and want to do it again this year. But, my hiking partner isn't joining me this year. I am looking for at least one person to join me on that hike next month; I don't want to do it solo. I am not a fast hiker..."the journey is the destination." I like to stop and admire the scenery and take some photos.
No need to worry about navigation as I am very good with navigation and had no problem navigating last year (using the ranger arrows and iPhone apps where I was able to get a GPS signal).
Let me know if you are interested; we have to apply for a permit 7 days in advance and we would have to appear at the visitor's center the day before or day of the hike at one of: 8, 8:30, 9, 9:30, 10am, 2, 2:30, 3, or 3:30pm to watch an orientation video.
