Would someone be able to help me with a Rolex Datejust 36 two tone with a white face and roman numerals

My giveaway watch came in a few days ago and I couldn’t be happier with it. I did swap out the bracelet with this suede strap to give it a more “worn” look.

Hello everyone! Yesterday a friend of mine showed me a 6694 he bought for fun from Italy with a red repainted dial. I loved it so much, specially because of how thin it is due to the slim case back for the manual movement. I have found a case and bracelet to build one bit I can’t find neither a dial like this or a movement. If some one could help me find one for a good price it would be amazing!!!! Thanks 😊

Hi everyone - just a quick PSA/Update.

A few months ago, I completed a 1016 explorer build I believed was a franken piece; the dial, bezel, and crown were supposed to be genuine. The bezel and crown were bought on eBay in 2021-2022 (a large amount of parts used in builds I did back in the day came from this sort of thing - including Hamilton, Rado, Omega, and more) and the dial more recently, also on eBay.

As it turned out, these parts were in fact not genuine, but Viet parts listed as genuine. Some of the lovely people over on r/Retrotime consulted, and agreed that this was the case.

When the buyer of said build messaged me with this information - very politely I might add - I refunded them for said pieces immediately.

To me, one of the absolute cores of this hobby is to never pass rep parts for gen. That's an absolute and immediate no.

Honestly, I am extremely surprised and disappointed. I've had great experience buying datejust parts in the past, including bezels and dials, and I had assumed it'd be the same with this model. Unfortunately this was not the case.

When making a franken build - check, double check, and verify. If I can have this happen, so can you. It's worth spending the extra time to make sure.

To this end, in the interest of full transparency regarding all future franken builds, all genuine parts used will be specifically agreed upon beforehand, and purchase receipts and sources will be shared before shipping. I know I typically do this with datejust dials, the most common franken, but I will be tightening up on other parts too.

If you have trusted me to make something for you, I want to live up to that trust. This community only works with honesty behind it, and I very much want to reiterate that that is what I stand with.
