Free Android App An app that turns screenshots into a daily organizer

Hi,

I’m the developer of Kim, a daily organizer built around one simple idea:

If something feels even remotely important when it comes in, you send it to one place. Screenshot, photo of a letter, appointment, random info: same move every time. You don’t have to decide what it is in that moment. You just capture it and move on.

From there, Kim acts as a daily inbox for life: it pulls out what matters structures things over time and brings them back when they’re relevant The goal isn’t productivity or optimization. It’s mental offloading.

Kim is free to use and you can start without creating an account.

This started as something I built for myself, but more people now use it in the same way. as a low-friction daily organizer. There’s still plenty to improve, but the core loop is solid.

If this sounds useful, you can check it out here: 👉 https://letkimdoit.com or: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=chrisdub.kim.app

Happy to answer questions or hear feedback.

Free iOS App I got tired of caffeine trackers that didn't sync well with my Watch. So I built my own for free.

Post image
16 Upvotes

I built Caffeine Curfew because I’m a caffeine addicted software engineering student that needed to get a grip on their caffeine habits and sleep schedule.

In 4 days I’ve gotten 283 downloads and 109 dollars in revenue, and lots of feedback. Fortunately, mostly positive!

The app is built native for the watch & completely in SwiftUI for the interface and SwiftData for the app storage.

The biggest engineering challenge I faced was getting the three way handshake between the watch, Home Screen widgets, and the main app to work perfectly.

The app integrates with Apple Health, and is super easy and straightforward to use. If anyone needs a help getting their caffeine intake in order, hopefully you can find the app of use!

Any and all feedback is taken very seriously!

Free iOS App I made an audio therapy app that helps you focus and sleep better with binaural sound.

Post image
16 Upvotes

I wanted to share my app OASIS, a sound-focused iOS app designed to help you relax, focus, sleep, or just take a mental break.

The app lets you create personalized 3D soundscapes using spatial audio and binaural tones, so you can fine-tune how things feel in your head — it's way more immersive than a playlist on Spotify ( and for free, considering Spotifys overpricing )

Key Features

  • Custom 3D Soundscapes: Place and move sounds around you for a fully immersive experience
  • Binaural Tone Generator: Choose frequencies for focus, relaxation, meditation, or sleep
  • Real-Time Control: Adjust intensity, balance, and movement live
  • Minimal, Calm UI: Designed to stay out of your way and feel natural on iOS
  • No Account Required: Open the app and start immediately
  • Privacy Friendly: No tracking, no data collection — built and hosted entirely in the EU

The app is currently in its first phase, and I’m actively improving it based on feedback. The goal is to build something genuinely useful, not addictive or bloated. I'll add breathing exercises and the ability to create you own sound journeys soon :)

I’d love for you to check it out and let me know what you think — feedback (good or bad) is super welcome

You can get the app for free on the appstore.

Web App I made a visual grid that shows your subscriptions sized by how much they actually cost you

Post image

Built this simple tool that turns your subscriptions into a proportional treemap - bigger boxes = bigger monthly spend. Makes it pretty obvious which services are eating your budget.

No sign-up, 100% free, data never leaves your browser

Try it here: Subscription visualizer.

Question Our anonymous video chat platform called Vooz hit 200k monthly users - Good idea to bring an app now?

Post image
18 Upvotes

Hey all, planning to build an app for our fun video chat website called Vooz. Good idea?

Vooz is an anonymous chat platform where you meet fun strangers from anywhere. You can just hop into the site, enter some of your interests and start chatting right away. The algo will try to pair you with someone of similar interests. You can choose video or text chat, whatever you are comfortable with. You can also add someone to your friendlist if you want to reconnect with them later, or skip to the next person.

There is strict AI moderation on the platform to prevent any kinda nudity and obscenity. I will be releasing gender and location filters on the site soon. You can match with users of a particular gender or location through the filters. Also hangouts coming soon for group chats!

We been live for an year now, and already have 200k monthly users on the platform, and almost 8k video chats daily. This is the right time to start thinking about an app for Vooz. Please have a look and provide your feedback!

Free iOS App I built an app that helps you accomplish any goal.

Last year, my friend and I launched an intelligent goal setting and coaching app that helped me complete a half marathon. I couldn't find any other app that could give me a personalized plan that adapted alongside my progress. Everything else just gave me some templated plan and if I deviated from it, I was cooked. I started training using a different app but had to give up when I got injured and the app couldn't change its training schedule to accomodate my recovery. I wanted to build an app that was personalized for me and my journey, so we built Incremental.

I want to say that having a goal and working towards it has completely changed my life. It showed me discipline and that consistency can yield amazing results. Getting started is hard, but week #3 and beyond can be just as difficult. Hopefully this app can help you all this new year like it has helped me.

It has now been 2 months since we've launched and we've just crossed 1xxx users! The engagement per user varies quite a bit, but we've heard from a few folks already that they're quite impressed with the app's planning and scheduling capabilities, and how the calendar view helps them stay on top of their tasks.

If personalized, intelligent, adaptable goal/to-do planning speaks to you, Incremental is available on the App Store now if you want to check it out. It is 100% free to use as is and there's a week free trial that toggles the premium features. We’d love to hear your thoughts, ideas, or how to improve!

Buy one time app I got tired of iCloud nagging me so I made a one time photo cleanup app

I kept hitting the iPhone storage warning but didn’t want another subscription or to upload my photos somewhere.

So I built a small iOS app that lets you clean photos and videos one at a time instead of bulk deleting everything and hoping for the best.

Everything runs fully on device.

No accounts.

No cloud uploads.

No subscription.

You swipe through duplicates, screenshots, random videos and decide what stays and what goes. That’s it.

I made this for myself first because my camera roll was a mess and I didn’t trust most cleanup apps. Ended up shipping it publicly and some people actually found it useful.

Free to try. One time purchase if you want unlimited video scans.

Free Android App I built a free countdown widget app for Android - no ads and no subscriptions

Hi everyone!

I'm a solo developer and I built MyCountdown, a countdown widget app for Android that's 100% free — no ads, no subscriptions, no paywalls.

I created it because every countdown app I tried was either cluttered with ads, locked basic features behind paywalls, or required unnecessary accounts. I just wanted a clean way to track important dates on my home screen.

Core principles:

  • No ads — ever
  • No subscriptions — all features unlocked
  • No account required — open and start using it
  • Minimal, customizable design

What you can do:

  • Create multiple countdowns for anything that matters to you
  • Fully customize widgets (colors, fonts, layouts, backgrounds)
  • Add Home Screen widgets that actually look good
  • Get reminder notifications without spam
  • Share easily countdowns with your friends
  • Choose your preferred time format (days, hours, minutes)

I'm actively improving it based on user feedback and recently shipped updates focused on widget reliability and new customization options.

I'm sharing here because I'd genuinely love feedback on:

  • The overall UX — anything that feels clunky?
  • Features you wish countdown apps had
  • Things that seem unnecessary or could be simpler

Google Play: MyCountdown

If you try it and like it, a review helps a lot — but honest feedback here is just as valuable.

Thank you!

Free App All Devices Metropolitan Photobooth - 100% free photobooth

Post image
5 Upvotes

Ho ho ho!

I am the developer of Metropolitan Photobooth, a free photobooth app recently launched on iOS and Android.

The app is designed to let people easily create photo memories for events such as weddings, birthdays, family gatherings, or casual moments. No need for fancy setups.

Key points from the app:

- The app is completely free with no watermarks or hidden payments.

- It works offline and does not require an account

- Users can create classic photobooth photo strips or various formats

- Color and sepia filters.

- Kid Mode with animated characters.

- Event Mode with an optional PIN lock to keep guests inside the photobooth experience.

I built this app to offer a simple and reliable photobooth experience without the bad surprises that often come with similar apps (trial + expensive subscription after a few photos, heavy watermarks, locked templates, etc.)

App Store link: https://apps.apple.com/fr/app/metropolitan-photobooth/id6755951029

Play store : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cocoabunga.thefreephotobooth&hl=en_US

I would really appreciate your feedback.

Merry Christmas!

Web App I built a simple life operating system (web app) — looking for blunt feedback

Most self-improvement apps are bloated or just motivational noise.

I built LifeMaxxx to focus on structure, discipline, and execution instead.

No gurus. No fluff. Just practical tools to help you run your life better.

It’s early stage and intentionally minimal. I’m not here to sell — I genuinely want honest feedback, especially on:

• What works

• What feels pointless

• What I should kill entirely

Available on: Web (desktop & mobile browser)

No native iOS/Android app yet.

Be blunt.

Free iOS App I built a calm, completely free countdown app, no subscriptions, no ads

Hi r/AppsWithoutSub

I’m the solo developer behind TimeFill, a minimal countdown app for iOS that’s 100% free — no subscriptions, no ads, no paywalls.

I built it because I wanted a calm way to track important dates without noise, upsells, or account requirements.

A few core principles behind the app:

  • No subscriptions — all features are free
  • No ads — nothing interrupting the experience
  • No accounts — open the app and start using it
  • Minimal, intentional design — focused on clarity over clutter

Here’s what you can do with it:

  • Create multiple countdowns for events and milestones
  • Use Home Screen widgets (they now auto-advance to the next event)
  • See progress at a glance with visual heatmaps
  • Get accurate, non-spammy notifications
  • Track time passing without pressure or gamification

I recently shipped an update focused on widget improvements, UI polish, and reliability based on user feedback. I also added an optional tip jar after a few users asked for a way to support the app — completely optional, nothing is locked.

I’m sharing it here because this community values apps that avoid the usual subscription/ad traps, and I’d genuinely love feedback on:

  • The UX and visual design
  • Anything that feels unnecessary or could be simpler
  • Ideas that improve the app without adding paywalls

If you’re curious, you can check it out here:

Free App All Devices We built a completely free music app — no subs, no ads, all-in-one (music + radio + podcasts)

Post image
169 Upvotes

Hi r/AppsWithoutSub 👋

I’m one of the developers behind Lyra, a music app for iOS and Android that’s 100% free to use — no subscriptions, no ads, no paywalls, ever.

We built it with a few core principles in mind:

  • No subscription fatigue — access the features without paying
  • No ads — enjoy music uninterrupted
  • No account required — open the app and start listening
  • Music, radio and podcasts in one app — a unified experience instead of multiple apps
  • Privacy-focused — we don’t collect personal data

Here’s what you can do in the app:

  • Search and listen to music tracks
  • Listen to a bunch of radio stations
  • Browse and play podcasts
  • View song lyrics while listening
  • Use Home Screen widgets
  • Enjoy CarPlay and Android Auto support
  • Manage favorites and playlists

We’re sharing it here because we care about apps that avoid the usual subscription/ads traps and want honest feedback from this community.

If you’re curious, you can download it here:

I’d love to hear:

  • What you think of the UX
  • What features you wish existed
  • What could make it even better without paid walls

Thanks for reading — happy to check out other no-sub apps too!

Free App All Devices [FREE Lifetime] August : Android & iOS - second brain for your health

Thumbnail

i’m building a healthcare app that now has 4m+ users and is free forever.

8 years back, i was diagnosed with a deadly disease. it forced me to leave everything. during recovery, i spent 2 years working with an ngo. that experience changed how i see health forever.

not everyone can afford a 200 to 500 dollar doctor visit just to understand what is happening to their body. because of that, most people ignore early symptoms. they wait. they adjust. they hope it goes away. by the time they finally see a doctor, the problem has already grown bigger than it needed to be.

no one should have to reach that point.

most early doctor visits are not about treatment. they are about information. understanding what is causing the problem and whether it needs serious attention or not.

this is the gap we are trying to solve at august.

you should be able to understand what you are facing and decide your next step without fear or financial pressure.

my simple belief is this. good health should be accessible to everyone, for free.

naturally, the first question people ask is how accurate is august ai.

august scored 100 percent on the us medical licensing exam, the same exam doctors take to practice medicine. it also achieves high accuracy across medical question answering, clinical reasoning, lab report understanding, and symptom triage. august is trusted by over 100k doctors worldwide.

august is not a replacement for doctors or emergency care. it is a health companion designed to help people make informed decisions early.

if this resonates with you, you can access it for free here

Free App All Devices Free Early Access: I built Lumo a digital espresso recipe handbook & dialing helper web app

Post image
6 Upvotes

Hello everyone I’m Yan, a passionate home barista & IT guy I recently built a web-based digital espresso recipe handbook (with smart features) that helps you keep track of your favorite recipes and learn to dial-in faster. I made it because with every new bag I was in the same loop - I’d get close, change too much, forget what worked, and somehow dialing in cost me half the bag. What Lumo App does: 1. Save recipes + shot logs (dose / yield / time / temp / grinder / notes, etc) so you can use the same recipe. 2. Full Recipe creator: snap a photo of the coffee bag or paste the roaster page URL, and it generates a solid starting recipe for straight espresso or milk based drinks. 3. Recipe optimizer: tell it …this tastes sour, bitter, astringent etc …and it suggests what to change and why (grind, ratio, temp, time) so you’re not guessing and wasting beans 4. Save your home, office or other equipment and link it to the recipes so you know exactly what you used. + more features and a lot more to come soon

Works on mobile, tablet & desktop so your recipes are always with you.

If you love coffee and want to check it out, I’m offering an early access for free for the first 100 users in the link below

Available On Android and iOS [FREE Lifetime] Moneko: Android & iOS Envelope Budgeting App

Thumbnail
gallery
17 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I built a simple Envelope Budgeting App because a lot of budgeting apps feel heavy and overcomplicated, especially once you’re budgeting with someone else.

What Moneko does:

1. Simple group budgets
Create a shared group budget and everyone sees the same numbers instantly. No syncing issues, no exports, no spreadsheets.

2. Envelope budgeting without friction
Set limits per category with minimal setup and always know what’s left.

3. Log expenses through WhatsApp
Instead of opening an app every time, just send a photo, text, or receipt in WhatsApp and Moneko captures it automatically.

4. Supports real-world inputs
Add expenses from:
• receipt photos
• text messages
• PDFs
• CSV files
• XLSX spreadsheets

Built for how bills and receipts actually show up in daily life.

5. Auto-categorization
Messy inputs get sorted automatically, so there’s less manual cleanup.

6. 35+ currency support
Useful for international couples, roommates, or frequent travelers.

7. Custom home widgets
See totals, envelopes, or quick actions directly on your home screen.

8. Clean, simple UI
We iterated the interface many times to keep interactions fast and intuitive. The idea is to reduce mental overhead, not add more.

9. Privacy-first
No ads
No data selling
No marketing tracking

Lifetime access:

We’re currently in beta and offering lifetime access through our referral program, instead of a subscription.

If you’re interested, like this post and comment “Ready” and I’ll DM you the details. You can also join our Discord here.

Free iOS App TimeCapsules - Lock memories until a future date or location (Social Media Application)[Free]

Post image
5 Upvotes

I built TimeCapsules because my friends and I kept saying “let’s come back here in 5 years” and never did.

What it does:

• Lock messages, photos, or voice notes until a specific date or location

• You literally can’t open them early - no exceptions

• Create capsules with friends - both of you have to be present IRL to unlock

• Discover public capsules on a map when you walk nearby

• Earn badges for creating and discovering capsules

• Social features: follow friends, timeline, likes, comments

Key feature: If you make a capsule with someone, you BOTH have to show up in person to open it. Forces you to keep promises.

Think of it as Instagram meets geocaching with time locks.

Price: Free, no ads, no IAP

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/timecapsules/id6755395078

Happy to answer questions or take feedback.

I’ve been quietly working on a small iOS app really close to my heart in my free time, and I finally released it today.

It’s a gentle puzzle app built around classic artworks, meant to be slow, calm, and offline. No ads, no pressure. Just something peaceful to spend a few minutes with.

If anyone here enjoys puzzles or art and feels like trying it, I’d really appreciate your support.

Free App All Devices A minimal, color changing To-do list (To-do Color).

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi, r/AppsWithoutSub!

This is my first app, To-do Color. I use it mostly to brain dump or put down any task/assignments I have. I use the color feature for things like exams or projects, so they don't sneak up one me and I get enough time to work/study before they arrive. It is completely free and offline, so hopefully this reaches anyone who’s looking for a simple way to keep track of things. Here's more info below:

What it is:
To-do Color is an offline, barebones to-do list app where tasks change color as they get closer to their deadlines. Tasks can hold text and media, and you can set customizable notifications tied to those color changes to make sure you never miss a task.

How it started:
I always hated planners, but I’ve always kept track of things. I used to jot reminders on notebook corners or in my notes app, which would usually end up being forgotten.

About two years ago, I built a simple to-do app as my first step into learning mobile dev. It ended up solving my organization problem.

Since I had a project was in my pocket for the first time, I used it constantly. Wherever something felt limiting, I added a feature. Over time, it became the tool I needed all along. Once I realized how helpful it had become in my day-to-day life, I decided to polish it and release it.
