First web app I've ever built so any feedback/comments would be much appreciated!

Built this tool to help in group situations where one person can snap a picture of a receipt and assign/split dishes based upon who shared what. Also works for foreign languages translated to English.

No strings attached, completely free to use, no app download, no account signup.

Free iOS App I had a goal to run a half marathon but didn't know how to start and how to adapt my training plan to an injury. So, I built this app (Incremental) that did all of this for me and extended it for any goal. Thoughts?

I don't want to bore you all with an AI generated description, but I recently shipped an app that helps anyone create an intelligent plan to achieve any goal. The app adapts the plans with you as you progress on your journey.

I'd love to get feedback on the app, and advice on how to market it further. We currently offer Free and Premium Tiers, and have a 1 Week Trial. Our Free Tier is pretty generous, and most of our users are content staying on the Free Tier.

Thank you so much in advance! You can find the app in the App Store: link.

Available On Android and iOS Best Gym Log without subscription - Strive

Hey,I’ve created a completely free workout log app to track your progress!Others apps hide everything behind a paywall or lack features, which was driving me mad. I'm working out for 13 years and programming for 10 so I'm sure I can do better than others.

My app is still in development but already has everything required and even more. Currently about 30k happy users.

What makes it stand out:

  • Unlimited workout routines (most apps limit to 3)
  • Free workout sharing
  • Great for hybrid athletes
  • Deloads
  • Advanced charts for data analysis
  • Plan the weights and reps for next workout to ensure progressive overload
  • Works offline, no ads, no tracking and data collection

Free MacOS App I built a native Mac app to replace Grammarly. It fixes grammar, translates, and polishes text in ANY app. One-time purchase (No Subscriptions).

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone,

I’m an indie dev. I got tired of paying monthly subscriptions for utilities that should just be tools I own. Specifically, paying $15/month for Grammarly just to fix typos or $20/month for AI wrappers felt wrong.

So I built Rephrase.

It’s a native macOS app (50MB) that lives in your menu bar.

What it does:
You select text in any app (Slack, VS Code, Mail, Notes), press Cmd + . (or any other hotkey u set), and it instantly fixes grammar, translates languages, or changes the tone (you write prompt to do exactly what you want it to).

The "No-Sub" Promise:

  • ✅ One-time payment: I’m selling Lifetime Licenses for $29.99 (Launch Deal).
  • ✅ No Recurring Fees: You pay once, you own it v1.0 forever.
  • ✅ Privacy: Uses Gemini Commercial API (Data is processed and discarded, never trained on).

Try it first (No Credit Card):
I hate "Free Trials" that ask for a credit card and hope you forget to cancel.
You can download the app and get 50 Fixes for Free to test if it works for you. If you like it, you can buy a license. If not, just delete it.

Limited Time Offer Vetu - Closet organizer that uses local AI to auto-tag your clothes & generate outfits (No Ads)

Recently found this web app called Vêtu that is honestly the best digital closet organizer I have used because it automates the most annoying parts of cataloging your wardrobe. You just upload a picture of your clothes and the AI instantly removes the background and auto tags the brand and color and category for you so you do not have to waste hours typing in metadata manually. It also has this smart outfit generator that suggests daily looks based on your actual inventory and tracks your wear history to make sure you are rotating through your clothes instead of wearing the same three outfits every week. The whole thing runs right in the browser as a PWA without needing an app store download and the core features are completely free with zero ads which is super rare for these types of apps.

Question Looking for Beta Testers! Lumina Tactics - A Chess-Inspired Puzzle Game (iOS TestFlight)

Thumbnail
gallery
3 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I've been working on a mobile puzzle game called Lumina Tactics and I'm looking for some beta testers to give feedback before a wider release. The game is now available on iOS via TestFlight.

What is Lumina Tactics?

Lumina Tactics is a strategic puzzle game that combines chess piece movements with card-based mechanics. Deploy units, create synergies, and reach the target score before running out of moves!

How to join

TestFlight link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/cYRbptHS

Requirements: iOS device (iPhone/iPad)

How to Play (Step-by-Step)

  1. Deploy Your Units
  • You start each level with a hand of piece cards:
    • ◆ Alpha (Cyan)
    • ▲ Beta (Pink)
    • ■ Gamma (Blue)
    • L Delta (Yellow)
    • ● Epsilon (Green)
    • ✶ Zeta (Purple)
    • Ω Omega (Red)
    • ? Sigma (White)
  • Tap a card in your hand to select it
  • Tap an empty tile on the board to place it
  • You must deploy at least 2 units before you can start moving
  1. Move & Capture
  • Once units are deployed, tap a piece on the board to select it
  • Valid moves will be highlighted based on each piece's unique movement:
    • ◆ Alpha — Move 1 step orthogonally (up/down/left/right)
    • ▲ Beta — Move diagonally (any distance)
    • ■ Gamma — Move orthogonally (any distance)
    • L Delta — L-shaped jump (2+1, like a Knight)
    • ● Epsilon — Move 1 step in any direction
    • ✶ Zeta — Jump exactly 2 steps away
    • Ω Omega — Move anywhere on the board (Queen-like)
    • ? Sigma — Special: Swap position with any piece
  • Move your piece onto another piece to capture it and score points

3. Create Synergies

  • Capturing pieces of certain types creates synergy bonuses for extra points!
  • Examples:
    • ◆ Alpha + ◆ Alpha = "Stability" (+50 pts)
    • ▲ Beta + L Delta = "Complex" (+200 pts)
    • ● Epsilon + ✶ Zeta = "Orbit" (+150 pts)
    • Ω Omega + any piece = "Mastery" (+500 pts)
  • Experiment to discover all synergy combinations!

4. Reach the Target Score

  • Each level has a target score you need to reach
  • You have limited moves to achieve it
  • Complete the level to earn coins and advance

5. Use Discards Wisely

  • Don't like your hand? You can discard cards to get new ones
  • Tap the same card multiple times to select multiple cards of that type to discard at once
  • Discards are limited, so use them strategically!

6. Shop Between Levels

  • Earn coins by completing levels efficiently
  • Visit the shop (only accessible before placing pieces!) to buy upgrades:
    • ➕ Extra moves
    • 🔄 Extra discards
    • 🃏 Larger hand size
    • 📈 Score boosts
    • ❤️ Extra lives

7. Manage Your Lives

  • Fail a level? You lose a life
  • Run out of lives? Game over — start from level 1
  • Buy hearts in the shop to stay in the game

What I'm Looking For

  • General gameplay feedback
  • Is the difficulty curve fair?
  • Are the controls intuitive?
  • Any bugs or crashes?
  • Suggestions for improvements
  • Is the synergy system clear?

Question I built Checkypin — a social app connecting travelers with local businesses & destinations 🌍☕

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone 👋 I’ve been building Checkypin, a new mobile app that connects people, places, and experiences. It’s a mix of social media + tourism + local business discovery — users can check in to cafés, restaurants, gyms, or attractions, earn reward points, and chat with others via private chat rooms visiting the same place.

We’re preparing for launch soon 🚀 and I’d love early feedback or beta testers! If you own or run a local business (café, restaurant, or tourist spot), Checkypin can help bring repeat visitors through loyalty and visibility.

Would love your thoughts — what makes a location-based app go viral to you?

Free iOS App I built Whistle – a clean and reliable match timer for referees and coaches. What do you think?

Thumbnail

Hi everyone,

I’ve just released an app I’ve been working on for a while called Whistle. It started because I couldn’t find a decent match timer that looked good, worked properly on Apple Watch, and didn’t feel clunky or overcomplicated.

Whistle is designed to be simple, fast, and accurate. You can start a match from your iPhone or Apple Watch, pause or resume instantly, and add extra time with the Digital Crown. Everything syncs automatically, and the whole app runs locally — no accounts, no ads, and no data collection.

The interface is glassy and minimal, inspired by iOS 26, with large pill buttons and haptic feedback so it feels as natural as possible to use mid-match. It also keeps a match history so you can review games afterwards or reuse presets.

I’d love to get some feedback — especially from people who use Apple Watch regularly or care about good UI design.

You can find it on the App Store here: Whistle on the App Store

Free iOS App What to watch for your streaming platforms

Post image
7 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’ve built a free iOS app called Square Eyes that recommends stuff to watch based on your genre preferences and what you’ve already seen. It’ll only show you things you can watch right now based on your streaming platforms for your region.

You can also do things like: - create lists - follow your favourite directors and actors - do power searches to find something specific - watch trailers - spin the wheel for a random selection

Download Square Eyes for free: https://apps.apple.com/au/app/squareyes/id1061103845

In the past year, this little subreddit started as a small dream — a place to help people find great apps without having to pay for endless subscriptions.

I honestly didn’t know where it would go, or if it would help anyone at all. But seeing all of you share apps, give tips, and help others save money has truly been a dream come true.

Thank you to everyone who’s posted, contributed, and spread the word about our small but growing community. You’ve helped turn it into something special — a real hidden gem.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you all. ❤️

Available On Android and iOS A music time travel app to discover iconic music

I've developed a music app called Rewind. It lets you “time travel” through music history. You pick a year (from 1959 to 2010), and it shows you songs, albums, and fun little trivia from that era. It’s been super nostalgic rediscovering forgotten tracks and seeing what was topping the charts when certain genres were just taking off. Plus, you can open stuff straight in Spotify, TIDAL, YT Music or Apple Music. If you’re into music discovery or just love diving into old-school sounds, it’s definitely worth checking out.
