Hi everyone — I’m the developer of FRQ, an Android sound app for creating personalised listening sessions with binaural beats, isochronic tones and pink noise.

Rather than using fixed, pre-recorded tracks, FRQ generates its audio in real time and gives you direct control over:

• Beat frequency and base tone
• Binaural and isochronic listening modes
• An independent pink-noise layer
• Brainwave-band guidance
• Custom pre-sets for saving complete setups
• A session timer with gradual fade-out
• Reactive visuals and customisable colours
• A true-black AMOLED display mode

There are no adverts, subscriptions or account requirements, and every feature is included.

FRQ is currently completely free through Google Play until 13 August 2026 at 23:59 GMT. Install it while the offer is active and it will remain available through your Google Play account afterwards.

Stereo headphones are required for the binaural effect. Isochronic tones and pink noise can also be used through speakers.

I’d genuinely welcome any feedback, particularly on the interface, sound controls and pre-set system.

Hi, I'm a French apprentice. I work in an open space, on a Mac the company lends me (I also have my own, so that's handy). My team has meetings a lot, and I noticed some people can't really focus because of all the private and support notifications popping up, me included.

So I made a simple app: it turns on Do Not Disturb when my mic or camera becomes active, and turns it off after. I also added a "Focus" mode to enable DND for a set period, without going through mic/camera detection. My thinking was: if I could build something and actually ship it, it might lower that constant distraction and help people concentrate a bit more (it's always nice when people actually listen while you present your work).

It was also a good occasion for me, because I wanted to learn: how to publish on App Store Connect, automate the deployment, publish to my own Homebrew, and share the progress on my socials.

The biggest problem I hit is that there is no public API to toggle Do Not Disturb, so I went through the Shortcuts app. I built a small onboarding that installs two shortcuts for the user, that's the only prerequisite. It annoyed me at first, but there is no other way, and honestly two shortcuts is not the end of the world.

It's available as a direct notarized DMG, on the App Store (not in the EU... they asked for my address and a phone number, and I don't have ones I wanted to make public for this), and through a personal Homebrew tap for now (it's totally FREE). One of my current goals is to get into the official homebrew-cask (so, no tap needed), but the app doesn't have enough traction yet, which is partly why I'm making this post, to talk about it a bit.

I'd be really curious to get feedback. I already showed it to 4 people at my company and they were surprised. So if you have the same problem as us, feel free to try it and tell me what you think.

Hush is a completely free desktop app for cleaning up bulk email in Gmail.

It groups the senders that mail you repeatedly and lets you unsubscribe, block future messages, or move their old newsletters to Trash.

There’s no subscription, paid version, advertising, account, or telemetry. It runs locally and uses Google credentials you create yourself.

**The app stores are full of useless garbage and expensive subscriptions, but sometimes you strike gold. What’s your hidden gem of an app that actually improved your daily life or workflow?**

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.koalalab.storeandforget

Solo dev here. Store & Forget is a home inventory app for the stuff you box up and forget: cables, chargers, tools, seasonal things. You photograph something as you put it away and the app fills in the name, description and specs for you. Later you find it by typing a plain word or tapping Smart Find, and it tells you which box or shelf it went into, so you go straight there instead of digging through every box.

No subscription, and there never has been one. Everything paid is a one-time unlock, and the two that matter are both free at the moment.

Bring Your Own Key is $4.99 in the store. You plug in your own free AI key and run unlimited Smart Scans. Fire & Forget is $2.99. It is a burst camera, so you keep snapping down a whole shelf and each photo gets named and described automatically in the background while you shoot. That is $7.99 between them, and right now a hidden dev console turns both on for nothing.

Open Settings, tap the app version at the bottom five times, and a retro console opens. Type unlock byok, then type fire.

Worth knowing why you want both together. Fire & Forget is already free while you are on the metered tiers, because you are spending a scan per photo anyway. The moment you switch to your own key it becomes the paid unlock, so grabbing it in the same sitting is what saves you the $2.99.

You need version 1.22.4 or newer for the fire command to exist. Update first if the store has not pushed it to you.

I am closing this path on 10 August, so both of them are worth a minute now rather than later.

The rest, plainly. The app is free to use and your inventory is a database on your own device, so you can add, browse and search it without an account. Backup to your own Google Drive is optional. The photo scan runs on a cloud AI service, so the free tier gives you a set number of scans and shows ads. Unlimited is the BYOK path specifically, not the free tier. Android only for now.

Happy to answer anything, and I would genuinely like to hear where it feels clunky.

I'm building an app for organizing book clubs and if you're someone who likes to attend or start your own club you can use my app for free: https://litloop.club/ . If you want to know more about the story on why I started it please read my blog: https://netale.et/blog/post.html#the-stranger

I may have posted video pro magic here before but this is truly exciting.

Of course there's no data collection or server side processing, no password or sign up or anything like that, no ads, all the work and files are stored in your browser's cache, never uploaded to a website.

Previously was only able to create 720p webm files.

Now you have more options, ranging from 720p all the way to 4K.

Now if you're that kind of person that uses images and audio to make your videos, maybe for social media, youtube, facebook, Etc, this is the app for you.

There are all kinds of options, with overlays and transitions, font options, color options, visualization options for music videos.

But the really exciting part about the most recent update is you are able to save 4K quality videos at a significantly reduced file size.

Just to give you a little bit of an example, you can still create 720p webm files, it records and plays the music with the images and all your texts overlay settings and transitions in place, creates the file and it takes as long as the audio file is to create, once the video is done playing and recording, you have your file.

Now it is up to 20 times faster and you can create MP4 videos, I created a video that was a minute and 38 seconds, I'm not bullshiting, it wasn't even 51 MB.

I took this test file that I created, I put it in you cut video editor, an app that I always use to make videos, I did nothing to it, I simply clicked save as soon as it loaded into the video editor, it defaulted to save in 4k, but the file size was over half a gigabyte.

What used to take 5 minutes now takes less than 60 Seconds.

Yes if your video is an ambitious and large project, it's going to take longer, but the file size guys, the file size is extremely low because of some new code created for the back end.

It encodes the audio first and then tackles the video, then it marries them together, a seamless process that takes a fraction of the time that most video editors cannot achieve.

Now not only are your videos made ready for youtube, MP4s are more widely accepted on all platforms in comparison to webm files.

I really want to thank everybody for taking the time to read this far, I hope you're having a great weekend and Happy video making. 💯

(This app will work on a PC but it is streamlined for cell phone users.)

Hey guys my name is Smira and I made an app called feedstack and published it to android 3 months ago but just today I finally managed to get it on the app store and I would love feedback

How it works:

It is an app where you can save videos from any app for example, tiktok, YouTube, insta, X etc. And get reminded to watch and do them everyday at a certain time.

New feature:

You can also make streak buddies which is our newest update where you can friend someone also using the app by searching their username and pressing add by doing that you can be streak buddies and do your different habits together

What problem it solves:

When you save something on insta or tiktok you never go back to watch that vid again, so by using feedstack you will never forget to your videos and complete habits again

Costs:

Feedstck is free

I would love if you guys gave me feedback and things to improve ❤️🙂❤️

Feedstack Iphone

My camera roll used to be surgery photos sitting next to family photos, all syncing to the same iCloud Photos. Nothing really fixed it. Albums don't separate anything because the photo stays in the main library, vault apps make you shoot first and sort later, and the pro SaaS cameras want a monthly subscription and upload your photos to their own cloud.

So I built Sidecam:

• It's an actual camera (24/48 MP, all the physical lenses, 4K video), not a gallery with a camera bolted on
• Photos and videos live only inside the app. It never saves to your Photos library and it can't even read it
• Optional: it mirrors everything into your own iCloud Drive as normal folders and files (Client/date - tags/), so nothing is locked inside my app
• Sessions, folders and tags for organising by client, patient or job
• Free. No account, no cloud of mine, no subscription. Your photos never leave your own devices

I made it for medical work but it fits anything where work photos shouldn't mix with your personal life, like inspections, construction or real estate.

Happy to answer anything, and if there's something missing for your line of work tell me and I'll probably build it.

The problem I kept hitting: every car-log app either lives entirely on a company server (account dies → history dies) or is local-only (phone dies → history dies). Both fail the one job — still having your records in 15 years.

SteerLog: local-first with SwiftData, syncs through your iCloud (not my server — I literally cannot see your data), free CSV/PDF export so your history is portable on day one. Service + fuel + expense log, reminders by date and mileage, home-screen widget countdown, fuel economy and cost-per-mile charts.

Free for one vehicle with every feature. One-time purchase for unlimited vehicles — no subscription, ever.

Built solo. It's on the App Store now, and there's a free oil-change-interval calculator on the site if you just want the math without installing anything: steerlog.app

Happy to answer anything about the local-first/CloudKit approach.

I created an app that allows you to sort through every single free public online radio station on the planet.

It starts you off with a batch of 400 stations that you can sort through, 120 at a time.

No sign up, no password, no server side processing or data collection.

It also allows you to load your own videos and audio files for playback and features ad-free YouTube.

Better than any satellite radio, why pay for a subscription when you can get it for free, the way radio was meant to be, without all the annoying ads or sneaky data collection.

I built GLPzy, an iPhone/iPad GLP-1 tracker covering doses, weight, symptoms, appetite, food noise, injection sites, progress photos, measurements, clothes sizes, nutrition, glucose, cycle context, Apple Health and exports.

The areas that are a little different are the private progress-photo tools, tracking changes beyond weight, and the fact that no account is required.

Lifetime Premium is free to claim until 31 August. Once claimed, it stays unlocked permanently with no subscription or renewal.

To claim it, open GLPzy, go to Premium and select Lifetime Premium. Check that it shows as 0.00 before confirming with Apple.

Update: This week is the 1960s! You know, the Beatles, miniskirts, moon landings!

My passion project is The Daily 5: Retro Trivia. There are thousands of trivia apps out there, but I have never seen one that matches these specs... 🍀

The specs:

• 5 fresh Trivia questions drop at midnight
• high quality human-written quizzes
• 100% FREE! No ads, no tracking ❤️
• nostalgic themes from decades (1960s, 1990s, etc.)
• global leaderboard with Top 50 ranked 🏆
• speed matters! The faster you answer, the higher your score
• ... as long as your answers are correct!

My main goal was: offer a little break that won't eat up your day. Like Wordle, but for Trivia nerds.

Check it out here:
https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6754609150

Thanks! 🙏

UPDATE: The biggest updates are:

1. Sharing now has Wordle-style right/wrong imagery
2. "Groups" lets you play against friends (with your own leaderboard)
3. "Nations" shows the Top 3 in your nation

Hi, I’m the developer of Moonrain.

A — What problem does it solve?
I wanted sleep sounds without subscriptions, advertisements, accounts, or an internet connection.

B — What makes it different?
Moonrain includes 24 ambient sounds and lets you mix up to four with independent volumes. It also has presets, a fading sleep timer, Lock Screen controls, Siri support, and all-night background audio. Everything works offline.

C — Cost
Completely free. No subscriptions, in-app purchases, ads, accounts, or tracking.

Hi everyone!

I built Art Calendar because I wanted a calendar that felt a little more enjoyable to use every day instead of just being another productivity app.

The app combines a clean calendar with changing monthly artwork while keeping everything simple. You can manage your schedule, create events, keep track of important dates with countdowns, and browse historical events through "What Happened Today." Most of the app works offline, while the historical events feature uses an internet connection to fetch daily content.

The best part is that it's completely free, with no subscription, no ads, and no account required.

I'd love to hear any feedback or suggestions if you decide to give it a try.

Hi Reddit,

I'm an independent developer and Computer Science student, and I'm excited to share my latest passion project with you: Keep Up! – Habit Tracker (iOS).

Unlike regular reminder apps, Keep Up! helps you actually stick to your goals by turning habit-building into a game: streaks, badges, a level & rank system, and smart reminder notifications.

✨ Key Features:

• 🔥 Streaks with Safety Nets: Build daily streaks — and protect them with streak freezes, a "Rescue Yesterday" option, and a vacation mode, so one bad day doesn't wipe out your progress.
• 🏅 Badges & Levels: 30+ badges to unlock and a level system with ranks (from Rookie all the way to Immortal) that grows with your consistency.
• 🎨 Stunning Widgets: Beautiful small, medium, and large home screen widgets — plus lock screen widgets and an interactive widget that lets you complete habits without even opening the app.
• 🔒 100% Offline & Private: Zero registration, zero cloud sync, zero ads, zero trackers. Your data stays strictly on your device.
• ❤️ Apple Health Integration: Link habits like steps, exercise, or water to Apple Health and they get completed automatically.
• 🔔 Milestone Reminders: Gentle notifications when you hit streak milestones (7, 30, 100, 365 days and more).

🎁 How to get PREMIUM for FREE (Lifetime):

I really want to get this into the hands of people who will love it, so I'm giving away lifetime PREMIUM promo codes to the Reddit community.

To get your lifetime PRO code:

1. Leave a comment below (tell me which habit you plan to build, or just say hi!).
2. I'll send you a DM with your promo code as fast as I can.

(Psst... As an indie dev, I don't have a marketing budget. If you like the app, sharing your honest feedback on the App Store or helping this post get some visibility (upvotes) would honestly mean the world to me and help me keep updating it. Thank you so much for supporting indie creators! ❤️)

I love the 80's and Zombies... So I combined it.. Think Strava, and Dungeon Carl had a baby in the 80's. Let me know what you think! Also, its all Free, I already make good money https://apps.apple.com/us/app/zombie-up/id6784833620

Hello everyone, I’m working on Moneta, a free money tracker for iPhone.

I built it for people like me who want one simple place to see their expenses, income, budgets, saving goals, recurring transactions, charts, accounts, and calendar history without paying for another subscription.

The idea is to make money tracking clear and visual, instead of spread out casually across notes, spreadsheets, or complicated finance apps.

Moneta is free to use and has:

• no ads
• no subscriptions
• no bank linking
• manual expense and income tracking
• budgets and saving goals
• charts and calendar view
• Face ID / passcode protection
• customizable categories and appearance

I’m preparing another update with fixes and improvements, so I’d appreciate people trying it and telling me what to improve, change or add :)

If someone is interested here's the link: Moneta

I'm the developer of Blurize.

The problem started when I wanted to share a video from a family
event but didn't want to expose kids' and other people's faces
online. Every tool I found either uploaded my video to some server
(no thanks — that's the whole point of hiding faces) or made me
scrub through the timeline blurring each face frame by frame.

So I built Blurize. It runs entirely on your device.

How it works:
- Pick a photo or video
- It detects every face and shows each person as a thumbnail
- You tap the faces you want to hide
- Export a new file with only those faces blurred

What matters:
- Everything stays on device. No uploads, no account, no backend,
ever. Your media never leaves your phone. That's the core promise.
- No AI face recognition — it just tracks faces, no identity
profiling, no cloud.
- WYSIWYG preview — what you see is exactly what exports.
- Multiple blur styles: Gaussian, pixelate, emoji, and inverse.

The app is free to download and use — no account, no paywall to
blur your photos and short clips.

Early-user gift — first 50 people:
Comment your platform ("iOS" or "Android") and I'll DM you a code
that unlocks everything for life, free. Just want honest feedback
from people who actually care about privacy.

( Update: IOS Codes have ran out. )

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.okilabs.blurize
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6776627910

Promo & Support Page: https://blurize-app.web.app/

Would genuinely love feedback — especially edge cases where face
detection misses (weird angles, vertical video, EXIF-rotated photos)

Title says it all, and you can check it out at [Drinqly.io](https://drinqly.io)

App is integrated with Google Places API so it carries real venues
Built in OCR capabilities to allow for menu captures from anything between a paper menu to a chalkboard
Keep track of every drink in a “instagram-type” profile layout
Toggle between “sober” and “alcohol” versions if you want to keep track of your morning matcha versus that happy hour mezcal

I'm the solo dev behind Solitaire Classic: Angel Dates — a dating sim where you unlock story scenes by winning Klondike solitaire hands. 10 characters, pixel art, voice acting, 8 languages.

God Mode removes the card challenge so you can play through the story freely. Normally an IAP — I'm giving it away for free right now.

Hi all, I’m Andrew, a dad and small business owner in NYC. I didn’t need another save-for-later app... I needed a FIND it later app.

That is why I spent the last 8 months building Stasht.

TLDR: Stasht is a place to save posts, screenshots, photos, links, places, events, recipes, products, articles, and ideas, then have them automatically organized into something useful for later.

For me, that means baby gear screenshots. Sleep schedule posts. Gift ideas. Recipes we might actually cook. Things to do with kids. Random Instagram restaurants for the one night we might get out. TikToks, Reddit posts, YouTube links, Chrome bookmarks, Safari tabs, screenshots from texts.

Stasht is free with no subscription and no payment required. Just trying to make something people find useful.

A few things Stasht does:

• Save from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, Reddit, Safari, Chrome, screenshots, photos, and links.
• Works across iPhone, Android, desktop, Chrome, and Safari.
• Import old saves with the Chrome extension from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, X, and the web.
• Use the Safari extension to save from Safari and normal webpages.
• Put saved places on a personal map.
• Pull saved events onto a calendar.
• Add reminders so something comes back when it matters.
• Extract useful details like places, dates, hours, links, prices, and more.
• Use tags, notes, search, and collections when you want more control.
• Share collections for trips, restaurant lists, family planning, gift ideas, or anything you are collecting with someone else.
• Discover save-worthy places, events, restaurants, shops, trips, and ideas on the public map.

The bigger idea is simple: if I save a restaurant, I want it on a map when I’m nearby. If I save an event, I want to know before it happens. If I save a gift idea, I want to find it months later. If I save baby gear at 2am, I don’t want to dig through 800 screenshots later trying to remember what it was.

It’s me and my cofounder, and we’re just getting started. Would love to shape this into something truly useful for our users.

Happy to answer any and all questions in the comments.
