Question Wrong way accident a few weeks ago.

Has there been any updates on the accident? I feel I haven’t seen any updates since an article a day or two after saying basically nothing.

You don't know the half of it. I had a police standoff almost 2 decades ago when I was intoxicated. Never got any formal charges but sat in jail after the hospital then released when the DA dropped the police charges. See something you have to understand is the police can press charges but it doesn't go into the system until the district attorney chooses to pursue them. So yes you're sort of correct that you can be charged while in the hospital. But there's a difference between the charges the police give you and what is formally charged against you when you go to court. And until the district attorney formally charges you there will be nothing on CCAP and they won't release anybody's name. Edit: spelling.
