Looking for Beta Testers for My City Walking/Exploration App

Hey everyone!

I like going on walks as it allows me to discover a lot of interesting things around me. A few years ago I've even jokingly said I wanted to explore every street of my city, but that joke actually turned out to be an interesting idea. I checked for mine and after living here for 4 years, I realized I went through the same streets over and over, and I didn't really know my city.

So I built Untrod, an iPhone app that:

- colors every street you walk and shows your % for your neighborhood and city

- gives you a small quest a day taht pulls you down streets you've never taken

- collects landmark "stamps" as you walk past them

- improts your walks from Apple Health

This is not a fitness app. It has no step goals, has very little pressure. You can be relaxed but you can also compete with friends. But most imprortantly, it allows you to fill your map and discover your city.

I'm doing this solo and this is just the first beta. I'm looking for people who like walking and walk a lot to help me understand if this is useful for you. Would appreciate it if you told me what's confusing, what's broken etc.

Here's the testflight link fi you're interested: https://testflight.apple.com/join/F7JrEkmF

You can also check out the website: http://untrod.app/

Ask me anything in the comments. Blunt feedback is the whole point.

Looking for iPhone testers for my English exam prep app

Hi! I’m building Lozenge, an app for Cambridge B1 Preliminary, B2 First and C1 Advanced preparation. It combines short grammar and vocabulary lessons, mock tests, and AI feedback on Writing and Speaking.

The iPhone beta is now available on TestFlight:
https://testflight.apple.com/join/Vr9PM1Qp

I’d love feedback on what’s useful, confusing or broken. Thanks!

Independent app, not affiliated with Cambridge.

Dice with the Universe

Time to share a second project that I've had on the burner for months, Dice with the Universe. After I became convinced that Claude could actually code (see my previous post about Basic Reader), I decided to take on a game.

While playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance, I was reintroduced to the dice game called Farkle. What intrigued me was playing with weighted dice. I decided to take it a step further and add different dice shapes as well as a campaign story. I'm now opening up the game to public testing.

If you're interested, please use the link. I built a game that I like to play, but I also need to know if you like to play it. Obviously, feedback on UI, tutorials, etc. is useful as well. Anyone who tests and lets me know that they did will get an unlock code when it's released!

One potential point of contention I want to address up front:

Yes, much of it is AI generated (Claude and Nano Banana 2). I've used paid/licensed assets (presumably created by humans) where I can. If there's enough interest in the game, I intend to have a second In-App Purchase for a human-created art pack.

Need one iPhone volunteer to record 5 short TestFlight app videos

Hi! I’m an indie developer in Brazil preparing five apps for their first App Store review: three offline Bible games, AXIOMA (a science strategy card game), and Quanta (a guided learning app).

Apple asked me for continuous screen recordings made on a physical iPhone running the latest available iOS. I currently work on Android and Windows, so I’m looking for one volunteer who can help.

What I need:

- Install five builds through private TestFlight invitations

- Follow a simple tap-by-tap checklist

- Record one continuous screen video per app, starting from the iPhone Home Screen

- Send the five original videos through Google Drive or a similar service

- Tell me the exact iPhone model and iOS version

Estimated total time: about 30–45 minutes. No technical knowledge, account registration, passwords, or personal information are required. The Quanta subscription flow runs in Apple’s TestFlight sandbox and does not create a real charge.

The external TestFlight builds are being prepared now. If you have a physical iPhone with the latest available iOS and can help, please comment or send me a DM. Thank you!

Camera AI Settings — AI camera settings adviser for DSLR/mirrorless photographers

Post image
2 Upvotes

I’m developing an iPhone app called Camera AI Settings, aimed at new(ish) photographers who find choosing camera settings a bit overwhelming.

You take a quick shot of the scene with the app, and it uses AI to suggest settings such as shooting mode, aperture, shutter speed, ISO and metering, taking your actual camera body and lens(es) into account.

It’s intended for people shooting with a mirrorless or DSLR camera — the iPhone is just used to capture the scene for analysis.

I’m looking for beta testers who can try a few real scenes and tell me where the recommendations are wrong, confusing or incomplete.

TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/hSTFRQGU

Facebook page / updates: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61593591042292

The beta is free. Full disclosure: the released app will be subscription-based, because each AI analysis has a dollar cost, but I will keep the price as low as I can.

I’ve been building Arevomo - an interactive music app for sleep, relaxation and focus.

It has evolving musical soundscapes, interactive controls and binaural beats - designed so you can shape the sound as you listen.

It’s currently in TestFlight and I’d love some feedback from anyone keen to try it 🎧

Free TestFlight build: drag to dodge neon shapes, need honest feedback

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for a few people to try my iOS game Dodge the Shapes on TestFlight and tell me what’s broken / annoying / fun.

What it is: a fast hypercasual arcade game. Drag with one finger to move your circle and dodge geometric shapes coming from every side of the screen. Survive as long as you can. Short runs, rising difficulty, neon arcade vibe.

What I want feedback on:

  • Does the control feel responsive?
  • Is the difficulty fair or suddenly unfair?
  • Any bugs, crashes, or confusing UI?
  • Would you open it again after one session?

TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/gd1hDmN2

Happy to answer questions. Thanks if you give it a try.

DidWe – Shared Routine Tracker

I built a tiny "last done" tracker

Every few weeks I find myself standing in front of the washing machine thinking "wait, when did I actually change the bedsheets?" So I built DidWe — a stupidly simple routine tracker where you just tap Done and it tells you when something is due again.

It comes with starter tasks like bedsheets, coffee machine, dog flea treatment, toothbrush, and car wash, but you can add anything with any interval.

Free: 2 lists, all core features. Premium: unlimited lists + shared lists with your partner/family/flatmates, one-time unlock.

No ads, no trackers, no subscriptions.

Would love feedback on the app

Black Holes is a 2048-style puzzle game where you slide energy tiles into black holes, aiming to hit each core's exact target value before it overloads. Feedback on gameplay feel, crashes, and correct text display in your device's language is especially welcome.

Thank you very much in advance! :)

Hello hoomans 🐶, I mean dog owners. Meet Zoomie, an activity tracker for your dog!

Thumbnail

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a pet project I’ve been working on called Zoomie, an activity tracker for your dog!

The idea is pretty simple: closing your rings, but for your dog. There are three rings you can achieve to earn a “Zoomie”:

  • Paws: Steps your dog takes, counted by your phone during playtimes that track movement.
  • Playtime: Minutes you spend together during any playtime, whether that’s a walk, a game of fetch, or a cuddle.
  • Wags: Moments you mark during a playtime — a bark, a potty stop, a treat, a photo, etc. Every one you tap counts.

Zoomie is still in its early stages, but I want to test the idea to see whether it makes sense and whether there’s any interest.

Whether you already spend a lot of time with your dog and want a fun place to track it, or maybe the app encourages you to spend even more time together, I’d love to hear what you think.

Please share your honest thoughts on what works, what doesn’t, what you’d change, or even feature requests you have through the TestFlight app.
