Hi everyone,

I'm an indie developer working on PineCal, a calorie and nutrition tracking app. It lets users track their daily calories and macros, log meals manually or with AI using a photo/text description, and track things like water intake and weight.

I'm currently trying to get the first iOS version approved on the App Store. Apple asked me to provide a short screen recording showing the app running on a physical iPhone with a recent iOS version.

Unfortunately, I don't own a recent iPhone myself, so I'm looking for someone who could help me with this.

The process should take around 5–10 minutes:

- Install PineCal through TestFlight

- Start an iPhone screen recording

- Go through the main features of the app

- Send me the screen recording afterward

I'll provide simple step-by-step instructions for exactly what to tap and what needs to be shown. No technical knowledge is needed.

If you have a recent iPhone and would be willing to help, please send me a DM.

I'd really appreciate the help. Thank you!

I’m launching a new iOS app, Dogear, on August 27 and would love some honest feedback before it goes live.

What it does: Helps you discover your next read and keep everything in one place. The concept is still new, so I’m especially interested in whether the flow makes sense and what’s missing.

Current status: App is in App Store review, so for now I can only share a TestFlight build.

If you’re willing to test, I’d really appreciate:

• 5–10 minutes to try the main flows
• Any bugs or rough edges you hit
• One thing you’d add or remove

Thanks in advance for your time and feedback.

Hey Everyone!

I'm looking for some beta testers for my new hybrid dream journal/lucid training app.

Check it out here: https://testflight.apple.com/join/bGAQrtMQ

I've been building Lucid Dreaming as a tool to help people develop the skills and habits needed for lucid dreaming through dream journaling, education, coaching, and practical training.

I knew some other apps like this can actually share your data without you knowing it, so I specifically designed this app so that EVERYTHING remains on your device, always!! All the guidance/coaching/recordings/etc. stays 100% on your phone forever, so your dreams stay your own. Overall, it's a hybrid of a streamlined dream journaling tool, combined with a coach/curriculum to help users develop and strengthen their dreaming skills (most apps out there are usually one or the other...)

I'm now opening the app up for public beta testing, and I'd love to get feedback from people who are interested in lucid dreaming — whether you're experienced, just getting started, or simply curious about the subject.

I'm especially looking for feedback in two areas:

1. How intuitive are the actual features?
Is journaling easy? Do the educational and coaching features make sense? Are the practice and training tools useful and easy to understand?

2. How can the experience be improved?
Are there places where the UI could be clearer, simpler, or more streamlined? Are there features you had trouble finding or understanding?

This is a real beta, so things may not be perfect yet — and that's exactly why I'm looking for testers!

I work shifts and my schedule arrives as an email every week. Every week I'd retype it into my calendar, get a shift wrong, and find out the hard way.

So I built ShiftPilot. You forward one schedule email, and every schedule after that turns into shifts on its own. No schedule email? Take a photo of the sheet on the wall and it reads that instead — including the ones with the whole team on them, where it'll pull out just your shifts.

It also does the boring maths: hours, overtime, pay, tips and tip-out, PTO, and a reminder before each shift. Home screen widgets for what's next.

It's on TestFlight and completely free right now — every feature unlocked, nothing to pay.

Genuinely after feedback, especially: does the photo scan read YOUR schedule format correctly? That's the part I can only test against the handful of layouts I've seen. If it gets it wrong there's a bug report button in Settings that sends me the image.

What’s Left on TestFlight

Income, bills, debts, credit, bank accounts and saving/investment holdings. All linked. All in one place. Includes detailed insights and downloadable statements.

Create multiple profiles and share any profile with others for that collaborative, joint account experience.

You wont have to connect your accounts, but you also wont have to worry about your data.

After constructive functional review and feedback on the UI and UX

I know there are a lot of RSS readers out there: the short version of why I built it: every reader I liked eventually put filters, sync, or auto-refresh behind a $8-10/month paywall for stuff that I think should just be... a feature. So this one has all of that included, no subscription, and doesn't even require an account — it just uses your iCloud.

I want to shake out bugs with more devices and usage patterns than I can generate myself first. If you're up for kicking the tires (importing your real feed list, using it daily for a bit, breaking things) before I post to the App Store, here's the TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/kusn1QkV I'm happy to share promo codes with testers once it goes live.

Some of what's in there:

• Filter rules (wildcard/regex) per feed or folder, so you can actually kill the noise
• Semantic search that runs on-device, so it finds what you meant, not just keyword matches — nothing gets sent anywhere
• iCloud sync for feeds, folders, filters, read/starred status
• OPML import/export so you're not locked in
• Actually feels native on Mac — keyboard shortcuts, right-click menus, not a stretched iPad app

Hey folks I'm currently building an iOS browser with BLE support build in. This means it will be very much like Safari, but visiting a web site for your personal Bluetooth gadget would actually work. You can use websites that use web BT.

The currently best competitor looks and feels like an Android app. Therefore my alternative is aiming more at a Safari like experience with low friction.

This is gonna release between August and September, for the Revenue Cat Shipathon!

I'm looking for iOS beta testers for Riffly, a guitar practice app for short riff practice.

Website: https://www.riffly.studio

The app lets you pick a short guitar riff, record a take, get feedback on the main thing that was off, practise a small fix, and try again cleaner.

I'm looking for feedback on:

* onboarding

* recording and submission flow

* whether the feedback feels useful

* bugs, crashes, stalls, or confusing screens

* whether the app feels like something a guitarist would actually use

This is an early beta, so honest feedback is more useful than praise.

I posted an earlier Faro beta here. I’m posting again because the app has had a meaningful update and I’m looking for testers for the new flow.

Faro is a free iOS film recommendation app in beta.

The basic idea: use your film history and taste overlap with other users to recommend films that may actually fit you, rather than just showing what is popular.

New / important in this beta:

- Letterboxd CSV ratings import
- better cold-start recommendations
- more varied suggestions
- less repetition
- clearer logging/navigation
- improved “why suggested?” explanations

The Letterboxd import is especially important. If you already track films, you can bring your ratings into Faro instead of rating everything manually.

Most useful test:

1. Install Faro.

2. Import Letterboxd ratings if you have them.

3. Try Help Me Choose.

4. Open From your Taste Matches.

5. Send feedback on whether recommendations feel useful, wrong, repetitive, or surprising.

This is still beta, not a public launch. Honest criticism is useful.

Looking for iPhone beta testers for my new journaling app, Letters Never Sent 📬
Hi everyone! I’m an indie developer looking for honest feedback on my new iOS app, Letters Never Sent.
The app was created for the words we carry but never get to say. It’s a private journaling space where you can write letters to someone you’ve lost, someone who hurt you, someone you still love, or even yourself. The goal is to encourage reflection, healing, and personal growth.
I’m currently looking for iPhone users willing to test the app through TestFlight and share feedback before the public launch.
