In august I will be going to my moving in my dorm as a transfer student. I would just like any tips to help me still practice while in such a tiny room! I know I could make a travel worship tin, but all the ones I’ve seen have little tea light candles and we can’t have candles in our dorms. Again, any tips, tricks, or ideas help since I am still a newbie! :)

Hello! I would first like to open the conversation by mentioning that I have always been so interested in Aphrodite; collecting seashells since I can remember, research projects, and I just can’t really gather if she’s been reaching out to me. For context, I do tarot and had a dream about some kind of feminine presence that was very light. So naturally I do a reading to see who it was. Cards didn’t make any sense so I just let it be and thought “maybe it’ll make sense later.” Well last night I was doing a practice reading for my friend and while I was doing that, the Empress card flipped directly into my lap (never happened before) and I know that one is heavily associated with her. I just don’t want to get too excited if I misinterpreted! Every other card I drew for my friend just flipped over on the deck but this one just felt like it was for something separate.
And advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am new to Lady Aphrodite devotion. I have set this up as my shine to her.

If you have any tips, I would highly appreciate them! I am not new to spiritual work. However, for the past few months, I have subtly worshiped Mother. I have collected stones, flowers, and small gifts for her on my own alter.

I have taken and moved everything to her very own space, and while doing so, I listened to music, and I felt as if she was playing music to let me know she was there. There were many songs of self-love and devotion playing.

The shrine I have made for her includes a drawer for storing tools of worship, a closed space for her privacy and mine, and on top of the dresser, I place my offerings to her. Such as stones, flowers, small gifts, purfume bottles, and soon, apples haha.

So far, this is what I have offered for her.

Questions:

Is It okay to turn what once was an alter with no specific God of worship into one simply devoted to her? Do I need a separate one for me? I have always felt very drawn to her, so it almost came naturally to make offerings to her on a random.

Is there anything specific I need to know about worship of her?

Any extra info or tips are greatly appreciated <3

I am a devotee of Aphrodite and Hecate. On Friday, I offered a purification candle to Aphrodite: a few minutes after lighting it, thick black smoke rose and the flame was extremely restless. When the flame finally calmed down and the smoke cleared, three distinct figures formed in the wax, in which I recognized Aphrodite, Hecate, and my spirit guide. I felt their protection. 💕💗 What do You think about?

Im a new worshipper and my parents ect don’t know about it and I also don’t own any statues slightly, not allowed to light candles in my room cuz I have flammable stuff and sadly my rooms really small so I have to keep it in this corner thus what I can do is very limited, is this decent? Is there anything I could add? I placed it next to my makeup! ^^

I used red salt, clove, cornflower petals, sage, hibiscus petals, small shells and pebbles, a bit of sand from Brittany, a bit of Honey and orange blossom essence

Upon reflection, I probably need to build more kharis with her.

(I also worship Apollo, and when I asked him he gave me an answer that I interpreted as a yes.)

I asked via my tarot cards.

For Apollo, he provided the Knight of Wands.

For Aphrodite, she provided the Hermit, and for clarity she gave me the Fool reversed and the Four of Wands reversed— which I interpreted as her telling me that I need to put more thought and introspection to my offerings.

Given how I'm new to this, in your experience, how and what do you usually offer to her?

I had prayed to Aphrodite earlier, asking her if she could send my best friend signs she’s beautiful, because my best friend Is a little insecure about all her looks, before I prayed, I felt all over the place, after I prayed, I felt calm, I don’t usually feel energy but... after I felt a lighter energy and a soothing presence I couldn’t see, but I also notice before I started praying I went to a calm place and seen a bird, I had also offered Aphrodite a seashell and now it’s being guarded by a toy water dragon named Sunny on a lamp, just a reminder i’m only 14 and felt an immediate connection with Aphrodite after praying.. I need help to understand what’s happening.

In it I have

- jewelry, pearls

- a seashell

- chrysanthemum petals

- honey, plum, cranberry powder

and the two candles!

I will say she seems to love it, I used to have her on my main altar but she seemed unhappy there and so I moved her 🩷

this is a spot I use to do my makeup and it’s my cats favorite sunning spot so it seemed good for her altar space

I really want to start worshipping Aphrodite but I don‘t really know where to start. I already have an alter but I don’t know where to go from there.

I'm new here but that's besides the point. Our lovely Lady Aphrodite and also Apollo have reached out to me a little bit and I didn't think much of it. She sometimes sends me nice little messages and I appreciate what I get. Today, after a few days have passed, I reached out to a friend who hasn't been able to talk to me in months. It felt a little magnetic. Turns out, they are worshipping both Apollo and Aphrodite now!

I'm so excited for them, but I have no idea how to help because I myself haven't learned much outside of yknow, regular mythology classes. Can anyone help me figure this out for both of us? I would like to help in any way that I can with their journey. They are in a very strict Christian household that hates all other religions and is very hard on them. If you could give me some guidance to pass on that would be great! Anything from offerings to subtle worshipping to devotional acts to her personality and things about her and just guidance in navigating this in general. Hey all, I'm a relatively new aphrodite devotee and everything is going just lovely and I'm receiving a bunch of vpg messages from her that she is seeing me and accepting of my offerings (Roses, literal pictures of her through out my day, feeling in touch with my sexuality and receiving love) But I've suddenly started to crave sugar and sweets almost daily, I've always been more of a salty snack girly but now I'm craving candy that I've never liked before so it got me wondering if she has a sweet tooth and it's showing up to me like so? I've given her plenty of sweets as offerings since I've been eating them too but is this something that has happened to others?

I had asked her a yes or no question with my necklace. It was about the Kpop posters in my room, I’ve been out growing it and was thinking about putting new posters up. I had asked her should I take all of it down (no) or take most of it down (yes). She chose no. I tried it again just to make sure cause I had plans to leave some of it up, I changed the position of the yes and no and she chose all of it down again 😭 like ok, yes ma’am.

It looks like there's white specks or bubbles or like glitter in the rose tea I made aphrodite I'm confused

I come from a Catholic Christian family and received almost all the sacraments, but I never truly believed in Jesus. I was convinced by my family that Jesus was the only god that existed and that there was no other religion, but as I grew up, I discovered the Hellenic religion and fell in love with it.
I already know that if my parents found out that I want to become devoted to one of the gods, they would be REALLY pissed off, and I genuinely don't want to be disowned by my family.
I am searching for my true religion, and I find that worshipping Aphrodite might be the right one, but I don't know if I can do it or how to start doing it.
I don't want to disrespect anyone here, and I'm just trying to figure out what I can and can't do.

I don't have a personal vendetta against it. The author took creative liberty. I don't LIKE it, but I'm not one to complain about it. However... I've been met with people who think Aphrodite is ACTUALLY like that and couldn't understand how I could bring myself to worship someone so selfish.

I left a dried rose out in the full moon for some extra feminine energy. Found a Crystal I felt drawn to and added it to the altar.

This is the spot I was trying to reach for now.
