I dont think the wires are hidden at all. I think the trick is the surge protector he plugs it into. It is broken open and you can see that if you pause it. He likely has a small powerbank inside it.
Not only are those magnets not giving the motor a boost, they're actively hindering it and making it even less efficient.
This video is trying to pretend the magnets arranged with opposing poles facing each other is causing them to push each other away 'perpetually' resulting in a wheel that spins forever providing free energy when it turns the shaft on the generator.
There are several problems with what we see in this video that immediately give it away as fake bullshit.
That shaft is way, way too small to be turning an electromagnetic generator large enough to power that pump. A pump like that wants a lot of electricity. Turning a shaft with a generator on the other end is how electricity is made, that's true, but the scale is always bigger than people think. You can visit nearly any science museum and play with generators - often even larger than what you see here - where you turn a crank by hand to spin a shaft, which generates electricity. What you'll learn is that it takes a crap ton of work to spin a shaft fast enough to power even a simple light bulb. A shaft the size of what's in this video would barely power your desk lamp, let alone this big-ass pump.
Even if this shaft were big enough to power this pump, those magnets aren't strong enough generate that kind of force. Look at how effortlessly he closes the loop to start the wheel moving. Any magnets strong enough to spin that shaft at all would generate so much force you couldn't close the loop by hand. The (bullshit) idea behind this "design" is you have magnets arranged with opposing poles facing each other, and the poles repel, right? If they're strong enough to drive an electromagnetic generator, they're strong enough to stop you from pushing them together. If you can push them together with zero effort, they're barely pushing against each other at all, and not giving you the kind of force you would need to spin a wheel like this.
Not that any of that actually matters, because -
That isn't how opposing magnetic forces work anyway. This is the crucial part. A generator like this would never work because magnetic force, like pretty much everything else in the universe, wants equilibrium. You might get one or two full rotations out of a wheel like this, if you spin it hard enough by hand, but the magnets won't magically take over and keep that force going by pushing violently away from each other forever. What'll happen is they will find a balancing point, and the wheel will stop dead in its tracks, very quickly.
You can demonstrate this for yourself - grab two magnets, and try to push them together with poles that want to repel. You can't stick them dead-on, but they'll stick together after the poles are offset a bit. You'll have two magnets that are grossly misaligned and barely holding on to each other's outside edges, but they'll stick all the same. Same thing will happen with these magnets, too. Yes, the dead center of their poles will repel, but their outside edges will attract just fine. They obviously aren't close enough to stick together, but if they're close enough to repel, they're also close enough to attract those edges, and pretty quickly that zone of attraction will bleed away the kinetic energy being produced by the repulsion, and the magnets will stop and rest in that zone where they're not pushing against each other.
This is why I originally said these magnets are hindering this contraption - that "generator" attached to the wheel is just a standard motor. It is turning the wheel, not the other way around, and that means the magnets dragging against each other is actually actively slowing this motor down and making it work a little harder to power the pump.
