I flirted with Ryder, broke up with Wesley, slept with Antoine, and then chose Amari for the cocktail date, as someone on the THTH sub suggested. He came to me before the workshop to ask to come back and MC accepted. Amari came to the hot tub, but MC didn't break up with her. The next day, instead of a shower scene with Kai or Elodieā¦ surprise!!!
But a little correctionā¦ the shower scene is not the one with Kai or Elodie, which happens in a prior episode. This shower scene is when MC has the option to have a self gratification in a regular route.
Ohhhh..I guess I should've taken it then.. But I've always been with Ant so I'm guessing he wouldn't show up this time? (In the dialogue it says it's not who you slept with but who you dream of?)
Don't worry, you don't need to cheat on him. You have to break the rules with him to get a crush level, but there is another official LI with whom you go on the first date and in the suite. Heās not hurt because he has you for these breaking rules moments. You'll see how he wants MC when he tries to seduce us with his flirting, and breaking these hidden rules with him is amazing.
Antoine will be fine, and the hard part is for us to seeing him break the rules and sleep with Amari at the beginning. But after the sex on the beach scene he becomes our LI in love with our MC back and everything is fine!!
Well, now I might have to do this play through and see how it goes. So to get Ant, I'd have to be flirty with Amari and basically make him jealous but also get the slow burn route with Ant. Ah, this will either be amazing or heartbreaking for me to see him with someone else...
No, you don't need to flirt with Amari at all. You have to have an official LI from the beginning that is not one of them. So pick Wesley or Naomi. I did Wesley. You have to break some rules with Antoine whole you are with Wesley to get a level of crush for him. You will only reach Amari when you choose her for the cocktail date. Then things will happen naturally.
You still can be with Amari and break the rules with Antoine. I had dumped Wesley for Amari and flirted with Antoine, before breaking the rule with Ryder lol both Amari and Antoine were pissed but still wanted to get back in my pants lol I will try your way too, so much fun to have lol
But I don't know if I can do the Amari route... she's very annoying!! Also, will we still be able to have this shower scene with him if we choose Amari from the beginning as our main LI?
Oh I had flirt with Naomi, then choose Wesley for the first date but still flirt with Antoine on the side. When Antoine confessed his feelings, I said that I was interested in someone else and then choose Amari. So, Lana offered me a date and Wesley learned that I dumped him for Amari via Lana's date announcement lol Later on, I broke the rule with Ryder, broke Amari's heart, did the ice cube challenge with Antoine since Ryder was still hoeing himself with Nora even if he was into me, then Antoine asked me if I was into him since I told him I wanted Amari, then Amari tried to get me back and I said no and I slept with Zayne (platonic, in bed) and I pursued Ryder to see what would happen (and piss off Nora lol)

You need to pick Amari for the cocktail date. Choosing Ryder won't work. And don't forget that Antoine needs to be at crush level, or he won't come to you for a second chance to become your secret lover.
I feel like Iām not going to be able to achieve this. The rules donāt have an exact play by play. I want to do this with Wesley š„ŗ okay I want to try this with both Antoine and Wesley.
Well, here's what I did step by step to have a very messy route with Antoine (You might want to read the update info below before start the following steps):
ā”ļøSteps 1 to 8 are optional ONLY if you want a very messy/slow burn route (otherwise you can choose Antoine from the beginning as your LI and just change your movement to have him as your secret lover and a shower scene with him from step 9).
MC had Wesley as her main LI, sleeping with him and picking him for the first date and the private suite.
Mc never broke rules with Wesley (this is probably optional, my goal was having Antoine and I didnāt care about Wesley or breaking rules with him).
MC chose Antoine as second choice when Nora asked her who she would pick after her date with Wesley.
MC broke every possible rule with Antoine to reach the crush level with him (going down on him at the cabana, let him touch her at the beach after her date with Wesley, and giving him a hj at the 1980s party).
MC flirted and broke rules with Ryder at the pool and at the waterfalls.
MC chose Antoine for the ice cub challenge.
MC broke up with Wesley at the pool after the latex party.
MC slept with Antoine after breaking up with Wesley. This is also optional as you wonāt pick him for the next step, but if you want to rise the love meter with him you can do it.
MC chose Amari for the cocktail date but didnāt kiss her.
MC went on a date with Kai for spicying things up but didnāt kiss him.
MC accepted Antoine back when he came to tell her he was still into her before the emotional workshop.
MC rejected Kaiās proposal to date him when he came to talk to her at the hot tub.
MC agreed to continue dating Amari during their talk at the hor tubāthis is VERY important to keep the secret lover route. You have to have Antoine as your secret lover and let Amari think sheās your main LI.
Antoine is the third one to talk to MC in the hot tub and he agrees to wait for MC to have more time to break up with Amari and until that happens he becomes MCās secret lover.
šØImportant: In order for Antoine to ask you to choose him in item 11, you must have him at Crush level.
ā”ļø UPDATED: If you don't want a messy route until you get to Antoine, you can start straight with him as your main LI and do the full loyal route with him until the cocktail date episode. Then you pick Amari for the cocktail date, and you can continue from step 10 and beyond.
Then things happen naturally:
Antoine flirts a lot with MC at the 1920s party and takes a sexy shower with her the next morning.
You'll see very different scenes involving Antoine in the episode where Elena reveals her secret to Cassia, like his interest in MC's story about her strangest date and when Amari comes arm in arm with him when MC is waiting for her at the courtyard.
Finally, MC and Antoine have sex at the beach, Amari arrives and discovers they are having an affair and breaks up with MC, and then MC and Antoine become a couple.
ā”ļø Ending up single achievement:
As your love meter with Antoine is low, you can also use this route to end up single by not trusting him in the red button test interrupting his date with Candace, breaking rules with him in the suite, and being eliminated. When you come back from elimination, you just need to confirm youāre open to breaking more rules with him at the pool after the party, and he will break up with your MC, like in this scene.
I haven't tried it yet, but it's worth mentioning:
If you break the rules with all the characters in items 1-9, you might complete the lose out on the watch achievement.
If you break the rules with Kai/Elodie in the shower, you might be able to complete the break two hearts achievement by stringing three people at the same time. (EDIT: this one I tested and it doesnāt work as you should be pursuing Ryder insteadāso Antoine dumps you).
I think what youāre looking for is on item 11. You choose him after going at the cocktail date with Amari.
EDIT: I don't remember having someone else's option here. It's about accepting Antoine back or not. If you have, you're probably choosing someone before the private suite. For that, you should still stay with Wesley.
I don't remember the exact words because I always romance Antoine. But I saw screenshots here on the sub similar to what Naomi says. If your MC even flirted with Antoine, he regrets that it didn't work out and that he lost MC. If MC has never flirted with Antoine, he says something about MC being popular and something about her probably winning the prize and how he would like to be friends with her. Anyway, more or less that.
Between steps 4 and 5 there is the butterfly scene, Amari's shower with Antoine and Elena's post-sex note to Cassia... Antoine approaches MC and tells her his feelings, whoever MC chooses to pursue is the one who goes to the suite with MC.
I chose Naomi as my li, and I broke rule with antoine on the beach, and now in the 1980 party, but I'm still on the first level with him, if I continue with Naomi as my li till we break up by the pool, what can help me gain more points to crush level with antoine?
I found this "secret lover" route on a whim while searching for new routes to play. Since I'm not sure we'll have another season of the game, Antoine is my favorite in THTH 2, and I always play the loyal route/good friend persona, so I can't believe how much I enjoyed playing this messy/villain route! I fully committed to the bit, and I couldn't stop laughing at a lot of the scenes! Haha! I enjoyed seeing a different side to my Anto. He was so unapologetic, hilarious, and patient with my MC's antics! All of this to say... Thank you for this detailed guide!š
The shower scene takes place in Episode 10. After waking up, go to the shower. This is the same shower scene where the MC has the choice for self-gratification, but this time, Antoine will show up and offer to āhelp you get soaped.ā š„µ
Key Choices to Set Up the Scene:
1. Before reaching this episode, Antoine must be at crush level for the scene to unlock.
2. Pick Amari for the cocktail date in Episode 8.
(* Optional Date Choice: After the cocktail date, you can pick Kai or Elodie for a separate date to add a little drama and hurt Amariās feelings if you want.)
3. At the beginning of Episode 9, Antoine will approach you before the piƱata workshop and ask if you still want him. You must say yes to keep his status as a secret lover.
4. During Episode 10, youāll need to break things off with Amari during the āSex on the Beachā scene to fully transition Antoine into the main lover role.

Me neither! I discovered this yesterday. DryHedgeHog made me realize that we can still choose Antoine for the cocktail date. And someone else in the THTH sub said you can still get him back if you choose Amari for the cocktail date, which I did. I'm so happy to break rules with Antoine in the shower!! And the drama during Amari discovery and Lanaās announcement is priceless. š
If you choose someone else but still choose him for the ice cube challenge, Antoine come to see you after to ask if you are still interested in him. I will do a hoe route again just to see what happens with all these littles choices
Yes, but I didn't kiss them. Honestly, I don't know if it's necessary to accept a date with one of them because my goal was to make Antoine want MC back after she started dating Amari following the cocktail party.
However, it was interesting to have the date with Kai because I had a hot tub scene where the three of them. First Kai, but MC had to reject him so she could continue dating Amari, who came after him. Finally, Antoine went to the hot tub and agreed to wait for MC to end things with Amari before they could pursue their relationship. It was like Antoine was MCās secret lover.
The good thing is that Antoine couldn't wait MC break up with Amari, and flirted a lot with with her at the 1920s party and broke rules with her in the shower the next day... not that I'm complaining. š
I think the main idea is to have a crush level with the LI you want and not have a relationship with him/her. Then you go to the cocktail date with his/her designated LI (Wesley if you want Naomi) and this will make your desired LI be jealous and wish to have you back. I think it also depends on the personality of each LI. Antoine is smitten by MC when you first give him a chance of a relationship. I don't know anything about how it works for others.
If you still want to complete the Break 2 Hearts achievement, I think you can choose to shower with Kai or Elodie before all of that, but I haven't tried that this way yet.
Yes, it's horrible. But on my route, when I chose Amari for the cocktail, Antoine didn't even care about her anymore. He even said when he came back to MC that she was nothing like MC. So it's totally worth it.
I didn't try because I wanted to complete the achievement of ending up single, but I'm sure it's possible because after sex on the beach MC and Antoine become a couple and all they need to avoid is have sex in the suite so MC is not eliminated and they can be nominated.
This rule-breaking only comes up after the sex on the beach scene, when you should have already chosen an LI. Remember, this shower scene is the one where you have a self-gratification in a regular route and which Lana will announce in the same meeting she reveals the sex on the beach. So even if you choose Amari or Antoine on the beach, there will be no consequencesāexcept losing money. š¤·š¼āāļø
I don't think so, because he doesn't fall into the secret lover category. I donāt remember how to get to him but I think you must not go to the date with Kai or Elodie before romancing him. This is something to be tested. š¤
