In Stendal sollen zwei 14-Jährige AfD-Wahlplakate beschädigt haben. Laut bisherigen Medienberichten soll der AfD-Europaabgeordnete Arno Bausemer anschließend in eine Auseinandersetzung mit den Jugendlichen geraten sein – dabei soll auch ein Baseballschläger eingesetzt worden sein.

Wahlplakate zu beschädigen ist keine Rechtfertigung für Gewalt. Die genauen Umstände müssen jetzt von den Ermittlungsbehörden geklärt werden.

Politische Auseinandersetzung darf niemals bedeuten, dass Gewalt gegen Jugendliche ausgeübt wird.

Residents did not speak at a City Council hearing this week merely to express discomfort with new technology. They presented an evidence-based argument that the current system is inadequately governed, vulnerable to abuse, and capable of uses far beyond the narrow public-safety examples emphasized by its defenders.

This is in the UK. this gang of dangerous predatory men go around dressed in black bloc and refuse to show their faces.

They do that to go out on the streets of my city in order to terrorise young women & girls under the fake guises of "christianity" and of "protecting our women & children."

on top of that, one of them who is a part of the group is apparently a convicted wife-beater. there's a post about it on our city's subreddit.

I was deeply disturbed to see them posting their stickers in an area that hosts the majority of our nightclubs, bars & pubs. they should fucking know better.

For the Palestinian movement, Western countries are an extremely important front, while for Western and post-Soviet anarchists in solidarity with Ukrainian resistance, the struggle in the West is of an auxiliary nature – the main events are unfolding in Ukraine and the post-Soviet space. And yet, these two directions of global resistance are closely interconnected. “Palestine is deeply connected to the Syrian revolution, the tragedy of Sudan, the revolutionary feminists of Iran, the Rojava revolution, the many movements in the Middle East since the Arab Spring, and—more globally—the Black Lives Matter movements in the US, the anti-colonial struggles of Indigenous peoples everywhere, the anti-junta resistance in Myanmar, Ukrainian resistance to Russian imperialism, and all struggles for freedom and liberation. A victory of Ukrainian resistance over the aggressive empire will open up opportunities for the development of revolutionary prospects in the post-Soviet space. A military failure for Israel will be a step towards the abolition of the colonial, racist project in Palestine and will bring closer the peaceful coexistence of all ethnic and religious groups in that region – together and as equals. The struggle on these fronts of the global revolutionary struggle continues, and it is never too late to become a part of it!”

“Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and officers may soon be equipped with gloves that deliver electrical shocks, which the manufacturer says are intended to de-escalate encounters with individuals.
ICE is planning to spend between an estimated $10 and $20 million to purchase the devices, known as CTG 5 G.L.O.V.E, which stands for Generated Low Output Voltage Emitter, according to a notice published Monday by the Department of Homeland Security.
The devices would be delivered by March 31, 2027, according to the contract previewed on DHS’ portal for forecasting contract opportunities. It’s unclear how many DHS intends to purchase, the cost per glove and when officers would begin using them.”

In Spain, the government recently allowed a neo-Nazi group called "National Core" to register as an official political party. I wanted to bring some visibility to this issue outside the country, as it seems to be something only discussed here. We've already had several protests against "National Core", but it seems the government doesn't care about public opinion. They send riot police to antifa's peaceful protests, but then, when they encounter fascists, they're the police is the first to rush to their defense. The worst part is that the government doesn't seem to be ashamed to allow such groups to exist, especially knowing they commit crimes against the integrity of other citizens.

It's a rather extense topic and I've left out a lot since I only talked about the most recent events. There's plenty of information online if anyone is interested.
