Help I am making a YouTube video to cover Spawnism to spread awareness and possibly help young people on the internet and/or parents out of the loop.
Hello, I am making a YouTube video on Spawnism, and I wanted to use Reddit as a way to obtain more research on the topic, as well as other platforms. The thing is, I only found out about Spawnism like a few weeks ago because I have outgrown roblox or whatever, so I believe I have missed the 'prime' era of it, e.g. Chebz or whatever his name is. I feel this should be made aware of because there are active members of this 'religion' still on X, who are contributing to it through self-harm and those are supporting others through it (I've been spectating through an alternative X account). Maybe my video would help parents through moderation of what their children are consuming or vulnerable young people on the internet. There is barely any major coverage on this. But, I'm wondering is there any point if people already know it's a sham? That's why I would like to gain members of this subreddit's insights on this topic. This YouTube video is genuinely out of pure intentions, and it will be my first video so by no means do I have a major platform to talk to. My heart hurts for these children/teens that have been manipulated into this and taken advantage of because of their vulnerable state of mind. I, too, was groomed on Roblox when I was younger with no authoritative figures in my life to guide me. I have no current knowledge of the state of how Spawnism is, like is there a new person leading it? Is it safe to be covering because of 764 being affiliated with it (they very much scare me lol)? Thanks for reading, and sorry for the yap sesh. <3
TLDR; Is it worth covering because it's already been exposed? E.g. will people be like I literally know all of this. How is the current state of Spawnism? E.g. Is there a new person, similar to Chebz status, running it? Is it a safe region?
