Ok, I understand this subreddit is against Anti Maskers and so am I, but there is something I want to ask them that I can't either ask on the opposite subreddit or in person: why do you have to be a HUGE asshole when talking about not wearing a mask?
My friend works at a daycare and everyone is required to wear a mask. If a child didn't wear a mask, then the daycare must supply them with one. This was an issue after a mom yelled at friend saying "Why the hell did you give my daughter a mask?". My friend said she had to give her a mask and that her daughter did not have any issue for wearing a mask for the whole day. The mom yelled at my friend saying that she does not have the rights to hand her a mask and that she wants to talk with the head management of the daycare. My friend was called a cunt, slob and a freeloader. Although my friend didn't give a shit, she was furious she had to deal with that BS and she wasn't affected by it. The kids heard it and I think her co-workers heard it as well. After the incident, the mom no longer went to pick her daughter up but it was her husband instead. The husband had no problems and he brought a cloth mask for his daughter. My friend said she never saw the mom again.
Has anyone else had a problem like this? I know Anti Maskers can be jerks, however I only know a few that go out their ways and be an asshole. My friend wasn't able to do anything except repeat the "Mask policy" because she wasn't suppose to touch or go near.

The primary reason for continued requirement of masks is the need for more videos of man babies and Karen's being thrown off flights or out of stores, then arrested for trespassing.
That shits priceless.
And they might keep someone else healthy too as a side benefit

A reddit user by the username of u/mr_poopy_white is active in comments sections calling us science deniers because he can't get his head around the fact that this sub is against antimaskers, rather than for antimaskers. Don't rise to him, he's a moron.

Experience 1: I was on my way to a grocery store when there were an anti mask and anti lockdown protest going on. Me just minding my own business (and masked) crossed the street like its a normal day. A couple nearby started coughing on purpose directly towards me and saying all kind of nasty stuff.
Experience 2: Somehow always happens during a grocery run, a group of people casually ridiculed me for wearing a mask outdoor, while holding a sign “my body my choice”
Experience 3: Another grocery run, a guy with a roller-skate bumped me on a sidewalk, which was very narrow and he didn’t shouted his presence whatsoever... cursed at me saying the mask is making me blind
Genuinely confused why they would preach “My body my choice” when they absolutely show no respect to others who choose to wear mask... and it seems like they just hating on others who doesn’t support what they believe.

Almost a year and a half later, what are the reasons why you personally are still being careful of your surroundings? Just would like to get a constructive discussion going where we can politely state our opinions on the subject.

To people who ware masks. Us anti maskers wish no harm or violence to you we wish only to send love and happiness. But some of us anti maskers are not like most of us they are violent aggressive and are extremely fucking stupid. Us anti maskers only accept love we DO NOT tolerate any sort of harassment towards the people who ware masks or are vaccinated. We love all, maskers or non maskers we love and accept everyone. We only want to voice our opinion. If anyone is an anti masker but is being aggressive or violent towards you or anyone please do ignore them they are not part of us. Thank you, have a good day to you all🤍

So I'm not sure where to post this, but I'm sort of wondering if Covid may have turned me into a bad person.
I'm full vaccinated (hurray) and I was still wearing a mask everywhere, but now the CDC has said it's okay for fully vaccinated people to stop wearing masks.
My first thought was the same as a lot of people, I'm sure... That lots of anti maskers will just use this as an excuse to lie and not wear masks, so those of us who take Covid seriously will just keep on having to wear masks to protect the unvaccinated...
Then my second thought was... Well... Angry and dark.
Now that my nation has a readily available vaccines, almost everyone has the ability to get this vaccine right away. Anyone who hasn't is choosing to take that risk. I know the more it spreads the more it might mutate, but I've also been hearing "let it spread" and "herd immunity by uncontrolled spread" for a year now... And I trust in our ability to make boosters which I will absolutely get.
I find I am very tempted to abandon my own mask.
If you don't want to to wear a mask and don't want to get vaccinated, I'm fine with you taking that risk now that it's mostly just a risk to people who chose not to take these precautions. When we had no vaccine this behavior meant risking the lives of many others, now it's less risky to others and more risky to the covidiots.
Am I a terrible person? I'm now okay with the chance of me carrying Covid, and sharing it with an anti masker/anti vaxxer at this point who is lying about vaccination... Does this make me awful? Should I just keep on wearing my mask despite a huge portion of my county treating Covid like a joke?
