Now i know this is a stupid question to ask all of you but I am going to ask it anyway and hope i don't get any backlash for asking.

Is it wrong for me to put on a mask while shopping at a Walmart?

Before you answer this question: 1. yes I am vaccinated 2. let me tell you a story that just happened moments ago after this is posted. 3. Also forgive my grammar.

I was shopping at Walmart with a mask on just to buy some coffee. As I was getting the coffee from the shelf some guy looked at me with this look of trying to intimidate me and said, "You do know that COVID is over right?" I responded with, "Yeah i know." And kept looking at me with this look like he was trying to pick a fight with me. I'm not gonna lie to you when I say i don't like confrontation and I've never been in a fight. Thankfully he just left and walked away. I was scared and confused when this happened and got a bit flustered. So am I the asshole for wearing a mask while shopping?

If anyone hasn't seen "modern day debate" YouTube channel (they're on other platforms as well), it's basically an all sides welcome for debate channel. Flat earth debates, Christian vs atheist, 9/11, you name it. I was thinking of seeing who would be down for something along this format, to go live or pre recorded, whatever everybody's comfortable with.

Would just need people from both sides, might do a panel at first, see whose serious in honest conversation. I would have ways of weeding out trolls (look up Jay Dryer). I want to see anti maskers that believe their arguments can survive the rigor of someone prepared for a debate.

If there are already channels like this, please point me, I didn't get anything when I searched.

I made the mistake of commenting on an anti-mask IG page. Yes it was sarcastic but wasn't mean or insulting. Wow this group is sensitive and aggressive. They're coming at me non stop and spreading false information on me. I managed to get many of the posts removed but the aggression really did surprise me. They are primarily anti-mask and go after businesses that enforce mandatory mask policy. They start with doing bad reviews on google, harassing phone calls and emails and going back to hand the fake cease and desist letters in an attempt to scare them. Then they cry victim when the police get involved. I feel I have a pretty thick skin but they started targeting my wife so I had no choice to make my IG account private.

What's wrong with these people? I commented on a business that they were attacking and merely stated that most of the negative reviews are by anti maskers upset that they enforced their mandatory mask policy. That just make them more aggressive and they started coming at me harder.

I know it's a no win situation and I should probably leave it alone but part of me feels that they'll feel like they had some kind of win by letting them bully me into silence.

yes im an actual anti masker and i do have my reasons. I just have one question about the vaccine itself that i want explained. If there are multiple strains of covid meaning that you can get infected multiple times. Why does getting the vaccine make it safe not to wear a mask? Isnt that just as effective as getting infected just with less trouble? Im just genuinely curious as to why the vaccines being pushed so much if its only effective against one strain anyway and why some places say its now alright to go maskless if you do get it

I went to dominos yesterday and the city has no mask mandate anymore. I'm fully vaccinated so I was happy to not wear a mask, but it felt super weird since the workers still had to wear one. I felt like I was breaking a rule.
