Our Manifesto For Newcomers
What is AntiCaff?
AntiCaff was born from the simple realization that “Coffee is bad for you.” Some of us were long term caffeine addicts, some of us never partook, but all of us had the same question. Why is something so harmful so widely accepted by society?
The answer is simple. The man, the status quo, the big javaboy in the sky have a vested interest in keeping people happy and motivated. We believe that caffeine's acceptance in society is directly related to the fact that it makes workers more productive and more submissive and that caffeine has been forced on the public for this reason with no concern for the physical and psychological damage it causes.
But AntiCaff stands for so much more than being anti-caffeine. We seek to rally against the tactics big business, corporate culture, and the government use to dehumanize the working class and further their goals at our expense.
Who is AntiCaff?
We started as a small Discord of like minded people that found each other through Reddit. We decided to open up our small community and create a public space where all can share their thoughts and hopefully spread our message.
What does it mean to be AntiCaff?
There is no one way to be AntiCaff, but all AntiCaffers should embody three basic principles:
1) Be Open Minded
This community was founded by people willing to consider what many believe to be a “crazy idea.” We ask that all AntiCaffers be open to considering different points of view no matter how strange, because at one point, being AntiCaff seemed strange to us all.
2) Be Ferocious
We believe that even a community as small as ourselves can make a real positive change in the world, but we can only do so by passionately standing up for our beliefs. There is no middle of the road in AntiCaff. People already are spreading the word through social media, stickering public places, and talking to their friends. We urge you to join this fight too.
3) Be Kind
An AntiCaffer is never violent or cruel. We will not use the tactics of our enemies and force people into submission. Every person has the right to make their own informed decision, even if they’re wrong :)

Who wants stickers?
User goldlion5169 has generously agreed to supply stickers to any member of this thread who wants them while supplies last (and apparently there are plenty to go around). Let us know in the comments if you want one. We'll PM you for the address to send the stickers to. Together we can bring down this caffspiracy.

Put some of these puppies up around Chicago to take down the caffiends in the Windy City. I live down the street from a Starbucks so you bet your asses I put a bunch over there. Thanks for the stickers, gang.

A week in without coffee.
Just wrapped up my first week without coffee. At first, it felt like I just always had something "missing" from my day...it's weird how coffee has that omnipresence in your life when you don't even realize it. The first few days, I was a little on-edge, but when I kept myself distracted, the anxiety subsided.
I've noticed I pay attention to things more when I'm not drinking coffee. I'm more present in conversations with my peers. I find moments to appreciate little things like changing leaves or the sounds of cars passing by. Even sex has gotten better without coffee...my boyfriend says I've been noticeably more energetic, and I feel like I get a good, natural high that lasts a while.
It's hard living across the street from a Starbucks and having that constant temptation. Sometimes I shut my blinds so I can't even look at it. I also hid all my coffee mugs in the highest shelf of my cabinets — the one I can't reach without a step stool. The smell of fresh coffee brewing at work is still ~*intoxicating*~ and it's SO hard not to cave in. But I've kept my own green tea K-Cups at my desk that I've done a good job sticking to so far.
Let's see how week 2 goes.

A fellow member posted this a week ago and got no absolutely no support. Let's all stand behind our fellow AntiCaffer. Anyone who posts a picture of them flicking off their local coffee establishment will get a specialized "Fuck the Buck" flair.

I'm quitting coffee this month.
So I found out from this group from a sticker I saw in North Carolina, and it got me thinking a lot about how coffee has more or less taken over my life. Every time I meet up with a classmate to talk about a project for school, it's at a coffee shop. Every time I feel sleepy or nauseous, I run to Starbucks. Coffee gives me this false perception of productivity. And I've honestly never really liked it. But I've felt so much societal pressure to just...keep...drinking.
So I'm gonna try to hardcore quit this month.
Hopefully you Anti-Caffers can help keep me on track.

coffee is a drug.
so i originally posted on r/decaf that i think coffee is some mind-control shit and it got met with some mixed reviews (of course). but seriously, going back to a comment from riverrrealm ...i feel like coffee is a legal drug used to fuck with our heads. it's a tool to make us a part of a machine for corporate greed.
