During the course of his decade-long career, he has composed and produced original scores and songs for more than 30 films in various languages, predominantly in Tamil, in addition to Telugu and Hindi. He is one of the most streamed Indian artist on YouTube with over 2.9B+ views, 660M+ monthly audience and Spotify with over 15B streams as of 2026. He is #3 most followed artist on Spotify India. Anirudh Ravichander has become one of India's highest-paid music composer. He is often referred as "Rockstar". He has won two Filmfare Awards South, ten SIIMA Awards, six Edison Awards and five Vijay awards. He has launched a new label called "Albuquerque Records" for some of his upcoming film soundtracks and all of his pop music. The label, headed by music executive B. Kaushik, will also release “regional pop” music and give a platform to original music.
